I met the [redacted] while working in Brooklyn. I had numerous meetings with the family as they explained their plight as it relates to their house being damaged by fire and them being currently displaced. We decided to offer them our services to obtain approved plans and permits for them via the...

NYC Department of Buildings. We did get the approved plans and to date have been able to obtain the construction and electrical permits. We were paid $50,000 by the insurance company via for plans permits, mobilization, garbage removal, demolition and to secure the building. We commenced all works on the building and all parties were in agreement and were pleased at the way the work was being done. Subsequently [redacted] brought to the table her [redacted] who was not approved by the insurance company to oversee or approve any construction related issues, I was immediately told to cease all construction related issues and remove my workers and equipment from the property. I was subsequently asked to go to repair a leak at the property after being told to remove which I obliged. Both [redacted] and [redacted] were calling other contractors and further bidding these jobs out to other contractors and with that defaming my name and company with a litany of lies and inaccurate statements even after . I was asked to provide invoices for purchases by [redacted] which I began doing and was counseled to cease this since my work was being done within the confines of the insurance agreement and our contract. I was verbally abused by both [redacted] and [redacted] with threatening remarks both over the phone and via email which lead me to consult an attorney concerning this issue. I have been paid by the insurance to do a job and I am not being allowed to do my job because of the barbaric and unprofessional manner in which [redacted] has been conducting herself. They are asking me to approve the size of every pice of sheetrock and lumber before purchasing, I told them this is impossible and approval of those items are to be done based on the specifications of department of buildings. I were able to procure the same materials cheaper from a different supplier whatever difference they wanted me to give that money to them, [redacted] was very derogatory in her statements towards my sub contractor because he was [redacted].  I just spoke with my attorney who happens to have the signed contract by both parties and she is currently reviewing it. I can have the emails conversations sent to you. I do not want this against my name and company we have been working diligently to have this project completed but because of the ulterior motives of [redacted] we are presently stuck. I can have statements from all parties involved which includes the insurance adjuster, the previous contractor that was assigned to remove garbage and mortgage lender who can attest to about her flippant behavior and her wanting to pocket monies for her own gains. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:  Signature Building Consultant unlawfully hired companies while having an expired licensed.  [redacted] hired companies that do not exist and overcharged my family for the work that was done from a company that do not exist.  He also pulled permits without a company's knowledge.  This action is against the law and his licensed is expired.  [redacted] is not suppose to be doing any business and collecting money from anyone because his licensed is expired. [redacted] never provided a detail estimate of his work, he didn't provide a clear work schedule for the project, and ever time my family asked to review the invoices, he only provided one.  But the invoice he provided was made up by him so my family never saw what the company really charged and that's because the company didn't exist in the first place.   He always had an excuse when we asked him to provide us with invoices.  He also did not follow proper protocols when it came to notify the neighbors about work being done on our house.  He admitted that he knew what he did was wrong, and he still didn't fix that problem.  Customers beware of this company, they are a fraud.

This young lady is [redacted], Our company is Registered and Licensed and operating under the requirements of the state and the necessary entities. [redacted] is on a witch hunt and we will not engage in such. We have taken this family to court since there is a pending lawsuit against them. I refuse to further engage her ramblings. When the court makes it's decision I will happily bring the documents and have them posted here. There is no record of negative reports against this company with the Revdex.com or DCA, she continues to spew her vile and make up stories. I wish her well.

Review: [redacted] of Signature Building Consultant is a permit expeditor that is working under an expired license (expired on June [redacted], 2013) issuing permits to rebuild homes around New York City area. [redacted] subcontracted work to companies such as [redacted] which do not exist and pay [redacted] worker a small amount of money and pocket the rest of the money. He also filed permits from companies without their knowledge for rebuilding homes. He never provides his costumers with invoices when they ask for them and when they do get it, he makes them up on their own. Can some please investigate [redacted] and Signature building consultant.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] to return the money he received from my family.
