In response to your complaint # *** submitted by our customer *** ***completion of a modular home is 10-weeks after unit has been placed on a foundationIn our Contract there is a line item that states "unit should be completed within weeks after commencement of
construction'Below is a time line of eventsWe signed into contract with *** and *** *** on May 15, to build a modular homeWe supplied the Superior wall foundation for the houseThe original day for the delivery of the foundation was 7/24/The site was flooded due to a storm that dropped 3.5" of rain the night before the foundation was setWe pumped out the excavated site and prepped for a rescheduled date of 7/27/Factory ordered Modular units were built, and delivered to site on 7/28/We started to erect the units on the foundation 8/2/The units were weathertight on 8/4/The trim out (completing the interior and siding) started on 8/7/The sheet rockers and spacklers started on 8/15/and completed 8/21/The electrician started on 8/10/setting the meter base and getting it inspected on 8/15/The mason poured the slab for the basement on 8/17/The plumber started on 8/24/and completed 8/27/Needs sewer line through wall to complete final connection and electricity turned on to run well. Excavator completed rough backfill and complete sewer line on 8/28/The electricity was scheduled to be turned on 8/29/but wasn't turned on until 8/30/HVAC started on 8/29/as of today not completed.I am not sure why we are receiving this Complaint when the units have been on the foundation less than weeksI have spoken with the customer and he is just pushing hard for completion.Please feel free to call me with any additional questionsI can be reached at ###-###-####.Sincerely Mike Y*** Summit Modular Builders Inc
