I was never explained services for this salon, I have a co-worker that gets her hair cut at this salon who stated that she was happy with the haircuts she receives...so I scheduled an apptfor both myself and my daughterI never discussed prices with my co-worker or how services are ala carteI asked my daughter to inquire about hair color...when she called, she was told and up....how are we supposed to know what " and up " isI have always had hair services where color, cut and style are all togetherI was a new customer and not one person mentioned prices! NOT during the consultation, not ANY timeThe girl that cut and colored my hair, added highlights, tinted my eyebrows and did my services never once went over any cost with me [redacted] is the one who did my daughters hair, she didn't cover prices eitherSince I have medium hair, not short, not long...I would never had been able to afford to pay for all services individuallyYou can say that you have signs, you may now...but I didn't see one sign that explains service breakdownI spoke with your manager, was her name [redacted] I am sure she didn't tell you that when I called several times the next day...that she told me you were on the phone and not available...so I finally asked her about thingsShe told me she was the managerShe also told me that the girls that did our hair pay to rent a booths at your salon and they either worked on commission or something along those lines, so upselling is likely how they make their moneyWell when they are meeting new clients they should explainYou say I didn't spend 250.00...I was giving a round $ I paid what - 240.00, it wasn't your moneyI was in shock! I will never step foot in your salon againYou don't treat people that way...oh, and by the way that will be 240.00! It is unfortunate that you do not see how upsetting this is to someone who couldn't afford that kind of bill for servicesFabulous, for the people who canI am just being honest...not trying to get something for nothingI feel taken advantage of and I let your MANAGER know thatThe longer I sat and thought about how I felt when I left that salon...the more I realized I needed to put forth the effort to make the practices there known to the public, who could easily fall into the same chair I did...no one likes to be taken advantage of, so you might want to think about that from the view of someone other than yours, as you know how things work in that salonI didn't and still don'tI didn't dream this up! I was charged for services, yes...but wasn't told anything about what my total would be before anything other than color services from my daughter who called to inquire for meSweeping some color onto eyebrows isn't costing you any more...but put a 16.00-tag on it, come on! Tell me it is going to cost that much, and I will tell you a pencil works well! Thank you, for your time...and excuses
