As the manager of SignatureDreams.com I had to respond to [redacted] in accordance with our store policy on returns I have not yet seen any proof that [redacted] purchased said item from us so long ago After eight years I can find no existing proof of this direct purchase by [redacted] *** We lost our computer system to hardware failure years ago and many transactions were lost This item may have been sold and repurchased by private collectors several times in that amount of time That being said and assuming that [redacted] is the purchaser from said date We have and always have had a strict day unconditional return policy on most items purchased from us however any item that has been sent to the Court Certified Forensic Authenticator that we use at times or in other words is "Fully Authenticated" cannot be returned We have paid a internationally accredited professional for his opinion so that we can sell the item with the confidence that it is authenticThe customer is always aware of this at the time of the purchase and accepts the fact that the authenticators opinion is the only provenance that accompanies the item We have total confidence in [redacted] as an authenticator and rightly so He spent many years as a "Questioned Document Examiner" as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service and his opinion is accepted in any court in the world as an "Expert Signature Authenticator" He is also internationally renowned and has been commissioned by many foreign governments as an expert in forgery detection and treasury enhancements His qualifications and references are immpecable and that is why we use him [redacted] on the other hand has chosen to use one of the most uncredentialed authenticators that [redacted] allows to do business on their site The authenticator [redacted] has chosen to use for a second opinion I believe is [redacted] ( [redacted] Authentications) [redacted] has no formal forensic training or credentials to speak of He is not recognized by any Board or organization comprised of Authenticators His opinions are based on a quick online scan or a five second look if he has the item in hand He has simply allied himself with the powers that be on [redacted] in a way that he and his cronies from [redacted] (another authenticating company that [redacted] used to work for in the late 90's) are allowed to filter out anybody from [redacted] that does not use their services It's very unethical and has been an ongoing problem with items offered for sale on *** So many on that site are forgeries Why would I pay a company like [redacted] or [redacted] to authenticate an item if their opinions are not accepted in any court as Expert Authenticators I choose to use Court Certified people for our itemsThe COA that [redacted] received from our store indicated that "Third Party Opinions must be Certified" and he also received a notarized document from [redacted] documenting his unbiased opinion regarding the item in question I feel that [redacted] ***s claims and demands are unjustified If [redacted] would have allowed the card to sell [redacted] would not be complaining There are many other venues that [redacted] can exploit to sell his item both online and in the real world Also I should mention that the authentictor that [redacted] used[redacted] ( [redacted] ) has been embroiled in slander and liable litigations with [redacted] and others off and on for many years [redacted] makes a habit of throwing stones at other authenticators that have much higher credentials than his organization can afford to provideThis is a matter of legal record We had one other similar situation arise several years ago involving another customer that used [redacted] The complaint was made to the Pa Bureau of Consumer Protection and was investigated by the PA Attorney Generals Office [redacted] from your Harrisburg, PA office assisted me in responding to that complaint After several inquiries were made by The Attorny Generals office they determined that their was no merit to our customers and [redacted] 's accusations and that SignatureDreams had engaged in no wrongdoing and had used the best resources available to authenticate their product This was the only complaint ever lodged against our business after tens of thousands of transactions both online and at our retail store We have strived to maintain a high rating with the Revdex.com and the York County Chamber of Commerce and will continue to do so Its just a shame that dealers and customers get put through this quagmire of uncertainty because the authenticators themselves can't get along in a professional manner So in closing I can state after all this time that no business would honor such a request for a refund Most dealers in this business offer absolutely no refunds for any reason We stand by our company policyday redund only More info on [redacted] can be aquired at...eagleclassics.com/chris.html purchase by [redacted].  We lost our computer system to hardware failure 5 years ago and many transactions were lost.  This item may have been sold and repurchased by private collectors several times in that amount of time.
That being said and assuming that [redacted] is the purchaser from said date.  We have and always have had a strict 30 day unconditional return policy on most items purchased from us however any item that has been sent to the Court Certified Forensic Authenticator that we use at times or in other words is "Fully Authenticated" cannot be returned.  We have paid a internationally accredited professional for his opinion so that we can sell the item with the confidence that it is authentic. The customer is always aware of this at the time of the purchase and accepts the fact that the authenticators opinion is the only provenance that accompanies the item.
We have total confidence in [redacted] as an authenticator and rightly so.  He spent many years as a "Questioned Document Examiner" as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service and his opinion is accepted in any court in the world as an "Expert Signature Authenticator"
He is also internationally renowned and has been commissioned by many foreign governments as an expert in forgery detection and treasury enhancements.  His qualifications and references are immpecable and that is why we use him.
[redacted] on the other hand has chosen to use one of the most uncredentialed authenticators that [redacted] allows to do business on their site.  The authenticator [redacted] has chosen to use for a second opinion I believe is [redacted] ([redacted] Authentications)  [redacted] has no formal forensic training or credentials to speak of.  He is not recognized by any Board or organization comprised of Authenticators.  His opinions are based on a quick online scan or a five second look if he has the item in hand.  He has simply allied himself with the powers that be on [redacted] in a way that he and his cronies from [redacted] (another authenticating company that [redacted] used to work for in the late 90's) are allowed to filter out anybody from [redacted] that does not use their services.  It's very unethical and has been an ongoing problem with items offered for sale on [redacted].  So many on that site are forgeries.  Why would I pay a company like [redacted] or [redacted] to authenticate an item if their opinions are not accepted in any court as Expert Authenticators.  I choose to use Court Certified people for our items. I feel that [redacted]s claims and demands are unjustified.  If [redacted] would have allowed the card to sell [redacted] would not be complaining.  There are many other venues that [redacted] can exploit to sell his item both online and in the real world.
Also I should mention that the authentictor that [redacted] used...[redacted] ([redacted]) has been embroiled in slander and liable litigations with [redacted] and others off and on for many years.  [redacted] makes a habit of throwing stones at other authenticators that have much higher credentials than his organization can afford to provide. This is a matter of legal record.
We had one other similar situation arise several years ago involving another customer that used [redacted].  The complaint was made to the Pa Bureau of Consumer Protection  and was investigated by the PA Attorney Generals Office.  [redacted] from your Harrisburg, PA office assisted me in responding to that complaint.  After several inquiries were made by The Attorny Generals office they determined that their was no merit to our customers and [redacted]'s accusations and that SignatureDreams had engaged in no wrongdoing and had used the best resources available to authenticate their product.  This was the only complaint ever lodged against our business after tens of thousands of transactions both online and at our retail store.  We have strived to maintain a high rating with the Revdex.com and the York County Chamber of Commerce and will continue to do so.  Its just a shame that dealers and customers get put through this quagmire of uncertainty because the authenticators themselves can't get along in a professional manner.
So in closing I can state after all this time that no business would honor such a request for a refund.  Most dealers in this business offer absolutely no refunds for any reason.   We stand by our company policy. 30 day redund only.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Yes, I am rejecting Signature Dreams reply.  I can come up with just as much negative information on their authenticator as they can positive.  In fact, I have e-mailed him asking what specific examplars he used to authenticate the autograph I bought from Signature Dreams.  Not surprisingly, I have not heard back from him.  This would be Christopher Morales. His "expert" opinion has been thrown out of court as least once that I can find and his resume has also been discredited. It is of course very convenient for Signature Dreams that their computer system crashed and they now have no record of the holographic number record of the card they sold me.  I will get in touch with my credit card companies to see if the records go back that far and if they can find the purchase.
Regards,
[redacted]
