Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: This company at no point offered me the opportunity to install to sign. They only gave me instructions how to install the sign and a warranty for labor and materials for one year for which they have refused to honor. This warranty was signed by the manager of the store. The sign started coming apart in the first two week of after it was put up. The credit company approve the charge only because the product was delivered not because it lived up to it's one year warranty. It was advised legal action for that determination.Sincerely,*** ***

I have already gone through this dispute with the credit card company for this complaint and it was
resolved in our favor due to the fact that we went through all of the proper protocol was fulfilled
The fact is that we do not warrant our product once the customer chooses to do their own sign installWe offer sign installation and do on a daily basis (we have been in business since 1986)This install service was clearly offered to Mr*** *** which he refused and did his own installWe can not warrant how customers do their own installs of the productWe are more than happy to warrant when we do our own installs since we know how to correctly do the installation and the product will last
Keep in mind the warranty offered is not a life time warrantyIt is impossible to warrant a product that can be affected by weather, natural causes, vandalism, acts of nature and so on
Now if the vinyl has failed, Mr*** *** can contact the manufacturer of the vinyl companyWe do not manufacture the actual productsWe assemble them to the manufacture's specificationsWhich we did for the projectHowever, we did not do the installation of what was purchased so it was out of our control of how Mr*** *** did his own installation which would affect any warranty

This warranty was shown to approved by the manager which I witnessed The person who typed it was my main contact person Ben I***-*** Of note the installation of the sign had nothing to due with the glue failing to adher to the backboard that the company mounted on within a matter of weeks I will upload the pictures

Is not a common practice for us to give a written warranty on projects that the customer does their own installationThis is because we have no control of how the customer did the installationIf we do the installation and their is an issue we will always fix the problem immediatelyI do have the string of e-mails with photos of the signWithin the string of messages it clearly shows how much attention our sales/design rep gave to this customerIf a written warranty was given by our store manager I would like to see the warranty since it is not for a store manager to give any kind of a warrantyI spoke to our store manager and he states he did not give a special warranty

I am rejecting this response because: I need the signs or else I would not have ordered them. I just felt that they should fully disclose all of their charges and not try to hide them in other costs. they should also reveal those charges in the estimate. very dirty way to do business. won't ever go here again. plan on telling evryonr I know about my experience. I Am 57 years old and a newark native. I know hundred of people in newark. An offer of some free siyard signs would have been the proper way to handle this. Looking forward to bad mouthing your business.

The original complaint was undeliverable to Signs Now in Lewis Center.  To my knowledge that store has been closed for 12 years.  As concerns this complaint;  We have a signed estimate from the customer for the exact amount of the invoice.  That he was charged for something he...

did not agree to is wrong.  If he wants to return a sign we will give him a refund.  (copy of signed estimate and final invoice attached)

[redacted],As I mentioned to you in previous emails we can produce the lettering in the chrome material at an additional cost of $30 plus sales tax.  I believe the reasons you choose the slate gray material was because it was less expensive than the chrome material and the life span of the chrome material is only 6 month to 1-year verses 9-year life for the slate gray material.  The chrome material will take approx 3 business days to arrive at our shop.  If that is what you would like just let usknow and we will get the material ordered.  (To make that happen we just need a credit card number to secure the order.)As for a refund, we have signage posted in our lobby stating we do not issue refunds.  We have worked on your order by providing you a proof.  I tried to call you several times and was not able to get hold of you.  I sent several emails as well trying to resolve this issue to your satisfaction. We look forward to resolving this issue.

Ok so basically I went in the the signs now and was interested in getting decal lettering for my car. [redacted] advised not to use the color I wanted so I said let's try the slate gray, I picked a font and size. She told me to give her a couple days to process it on her computer and she would send me...

an email for me to say yes or no. I stated to her that not only was it spelled wrong I did not like it and wanted a refund. She said she don't issue refunds. She never actually made the product she had simply made it on computer. So she didn't use any material.
