The contractor (who is her father) picked the sample off the sample board and was absolutely sure that’s what they wantedWe informed them at the time of ordering that we do not stock the color, never have and do not plan on bringing it inWe would only order as a Special Order, Non Refundable
and we even collected payment in fullThey were positive about the color and Jerry ( the father) said if they don’t like it, he would use it on a shed or find a place for it When the homeowner called to ask about a refund, I informed him that I will discount another product for him and would even try to help sell his siding for himI also informed them that if the siding went back to the manufacturer, the cost of freight and restock would be more than the siding itself

If the customer is going to bring me the material then I am willing to take the material back and ship back to the siding manufacturerThe credit they give me I will pass on that to the customer and I will also give them a discount on further purchasesEven the freight charges to send back, we can split 50/We want to make things right and I’m sure we can work this outPlease call me to discuss. I am rejecting this response because:In a letter dated August 26, Gentek Building Products, Inc notified me of their acceptance of my claim (which is the same as now) and would remedy the situation They sent me a copy of a letter written by Gentek Building Products, Inc., to renaissance Siding, Riley, E.Aurora, NY giving instructions to them to arrange to refinish the Revere Products on my house They sent men from NY (named *** and ***) who completed the scraping of the loose peeling of paint and sprayed the side of my house that was effected They mentioned that I got a bad batch of siding on that side--the other two sides have never done this I can't in all good conscience accept their denial of my claim since they sent me a letter of denial with a phoney name and telephone number to contact to get the warranty acknowledged After I called Gentek again,, they said they made a mistake and gave me an ABC Supply number which was in Wisconsin and they do not have any knowledge of warranties and do not do warranty work, they are suppliers to contractors I don't believe this Gentek company for one minute I have offered to have them replace the side with newer sidig and would be open to prorating the price with them I'm not looking for anything that is not supposed to be due me by this warranty The contractor who originally sold me this siding and did the job did it in good faith which is more than the supplier (Gentek) is showing in denying my claim now, the same claim I made in the past Thank you for looking into this for me, and I appreciate your help in resolving this matter.*** ***

Manager response:I am aware of the situation Like *** say's in his complaint he wasn't trained, but the training was offered and refused All he wanted was installation instructions, *** told him he could get the instructions but the video training was needed to insure proper
installation He still didn't want to do the video We ordered the clips and are having them fed exed He was in the store Thursday afternoon and told that we were getting the clips shipped, when he left he said to let him know when they came in and I told him we would bring them as soon as we got them That was last we heard from him. He was told he needed to watch the webinar, he told *** that he wanted installation instructions which *** called *** had them sent and printed them and handed to him while he was in the store. The clips we had fed ex'd in called him to tell them they were in and would bring them to him and he said he would pick them up the next morningHe came in the next morning we gave him the clips and he seemed ok

I ordered PGT windows from True To Form Carpentry They ordered the windows from ABC/*** Distributors True to Form Carpentry blamed the missing windows (2) and the inaccurate measurements and the incorrect window grids on ABC/*** suppliers This Revdex.com complaint was filed in order to try and receive the missing windows (pre-paid), which I have now received and are now installed The missing grids in the other windows have been replaced or are now on order to be replaced in days per ABC *** ABC/*** has been attentive to the situation and so far has done everything to rectify the problem It is not all solved yet but they are making an effort to resolve the problem which I very much appreciate

Nothing has been done! No contact and no talks of a refundPlan and simple, just want a full refund of my money

We have received your latest correspondence regarding the siding on the home of Mrs***. She is correct that in we would have acted as the agent for Revere siding in conducting the repair It was part of the purchase agreement that we would do so until at which point control/care of the warranties (from before 1985) would revert back to Norandex.Accordingly at present, and since 1999, we have not been the appropriate party for this warranty We again recommend the homeowner reach out to ABC for assistance. As indicated previously, ABC recently purchased Norandex We do not know if they maintained any of the old Norandex warranties, but we do know that we did not We did not produce this product and are not responsible for the warranty of it

We are the distributor of windowsWe sell to a contractor who provides the manufacturer warranty to the homeownerWe do not warranty windows that we supply. The homeowner will need to contact the manufacturer who will then begin the warranty claim processIf you need to know who the
manufacturer is and contact information for your purchase - you will need to provide us with the following:ABC Branch Location - where purchase was made.Did you pay ABC Supply directly - or did you pay the contractors?Who was your contractor?We may be able to help him get a manufacturer representative to assist with the warranty claim if he contact us for this assistance.Most window manufacturers are very good at working with homeowners to repair/replace any defective products

This customer called *** & said she needed windows to replace the she was removingShe gave him the details / measurements & *** ordered the replacement windowsAfter receiving the product she told *** he ordered the wrong windows*** then gave her the information she had
given him from his order notes he had savedHe explained he ordered what she requested & could not take back special order windows. She said we sold her just glass / part of the windowsI explained to her we sent the replacement windows she orderedShe said the contractor was there at her house working & she would get him on the phone to see if he could explain what was wrongHe told me they were the right size but she should have ordered them with nail fins or brick mold - new construction windowsAfter that I explained to her the manufacturer would not take special orders back so I could not refund herI'm not sure why the contractor didn't order the windows instead of giving her the measurements*** assures me he was not rude to herI was not rudeThat only makes a complaint worse As a good will gesture, if the Ms*** will return the windows to ABC Supply and present the credit card that the windows were purchased on - we will credit her card for the windows purchased

The manufacturer of the window is responsible for any warranty or other issues to be investigatedABC Supply is a wholesale distributor of the product - we do not warranty product or the installation of the product. Those terms and conditions are located on the back of the invoice. We have taken the steps to make sure the manufacturer has contacted you and will work with you on your issueThat is the additional service we provide

Tell us why here...Branch Manager, [redacted], spoke To Mr. [redacted] and resolved this issue. He has already stopped the payments and stated that he believes no further action is needed. I will follow up with the MBA to make sure all transactions were cleared and funds returned to Mr....

Without the ABC Supply branch location that you were working with - we are unable to obtain the information from our location regarding the delay that you experienced.  We work with Home Depot and if they have requested funds to compensate them for this delay in materials being delivered (that Home Depot is in turn refunding to you) - rest assured, we have a team that works closely with the Home Depot account and will rectify the situation directly with Home Depot.

From the message - not sure what consumer is asking for on this Revdex.com complaint. The photos indicate an installation issue or manufacturer warranty issue - we are a supplier and do not warrant the installation or product that we supply.  We are the distributor of product - not the manufacturer or the contractor.  All of this information can be found in the legal verbage on the back of the packing slip.We are willing to help with any product warranty issues by bringing in a manufacturer's rep to make a determination on what is the cause of the issue on this project - manufacturer defect or installation issue.  Please contact your ABC location that you used to purchase this material so they can assist you with this if desired.
