Sigora Solar Reviews (%countItem)

Sigora Solar has been great to work with. Communication has been consistent and open, and our system is performing exactly as was promised in our proposal. Sigora took care of all the red tape required to get to activation, so all we really had to do was wait.

Never ever purchase a solar system from this company!!! I made that mistake. I am 67 years old with a few health problems. I am not supposed to be in heat for long periods because it adversely affects my health. Hurricane Florence caused power outages here. My power was off for almost 2 weeks in 90+ degree weather with high humidity. When talking with the sales person, I specifically asked if the system would work in such a situation so my air conditioning would work. I was assured that it would work. And I have a witness to what I was told. I was also assured by the salesman that the system would take over on sunny days and provide power to my home.
I signed the paperwork for their solar system in early March. Because of delay after delay after delay and not installing all the parts required, my solar system finally went live on August 14th. It took over 5 months to get it working. And I have been paying for a system that wasn’t even working.
A few days ago, Hurricane Dorian hit my area and knocked out electrical power. The power went off during the night, and I expected it to resume using solar power when the sun came out the next day. That didn’t happen.
I called Sigora to ask for a technician to come fix the system as soon as possible, only to be told that the system doesn’t work if the electricity is off,
Why would I need solar power that is run off electricity? I already have electricity. I need a solar system that will take over WHEN THE POWER IS OFF! That is what I was assured in front of a witness that I was getting.
This company LIES to its customers.
I have asked that they either fix the system or remove their equipment and refund my money.

We apologize for any frustration our customer has. We are currently working to resolve this for her. We are researching her sales consultation. We generally are very clear that solar is tied into the electrical GRID and needs it to work. One of the main purposes of going solar is to save money off of your utility bill. Customers are able to purchase a battery back up system that will supply certain components of a home during an outage. We would love to speak with our customer via phone to solve this, however she has not agreed to this so far. We absolutely sell our projects with integrity and look forward to working with her on a resolution.
