I had a very positive experience with the service call. My AC unit shut down mysteriously the previous day and then came back on after about 30 minutes of down time. I called to have the unit checked out to be sure there was no damage (or impending issues). The tech (Marcus) spent nearly an hour checking over the wiring, system and circuitry inside and out and couldn't find anything wrong. Recommendations were made to assist in diagnosing issues should something else occur. The explanation was that the system has a delay built in to prevent damage on too quick a restart. There was no attempt at an up-sell or effort to establish an ongoing service contract. Fair, honest service at the agreed upon price.

Marcus came to do a seasonal check on our air conditioning system. With the current virus issues, we were concerned about having someone enter our house, but he had the full complement of gloves, mask, booties to cover shoes, etc., doing the best possible to keep things safe.
He did a great job checking things thoroughly, and it was actually good to have a quick laugh with someone in person during this crazy time.

Been using them for the last 3 years - consistently excellent, timely, and affordable service. Bob was here earlier today to handle our seasonal AC tuneup; he did a great job, flagged some options that could improve house comfort and air quality, and even pointed out that our dryer vent needed cleaning. Strongly recommend them!

Had our A/C system installed 10 years ago by Sila & they have kept it in excellent working order. Professional technicians who are friendly and helpful.

I knew my 27 yr old Lennox furnace could not survive forever. There were signs over the winter months and I had a maintenance agreement with another company that didn’t really indicate an issue. Though, the last 2 weeks of cold February weather awoken me to the immediate need to research for a new furnace. So many options in such a short time. I had gotten 3 estimates and really wanted a Lennox again. As a 4th estimate, I’m so thankful I discovered Sila! I discovered and called them on Monday hoping they could fix it and maybe explore some options. Tuesday, Tony showed up with his gracious, encouraging and professional attitude and diagnose the seriousness of the problem. It was time for me to make a decision. He patiently worked with me to find the best furnace for my needs. I wanted one that would be good for future owners, as well. On Wednesday, Tony and Weldon installed my Lennox EL296 furnace, Lennox EL16Xa/c and Bradford White water heater in a precise and efficient manner with a gracious and professional attitude. Thanking God they had a day of mild weather day to get the work done. Thursday, it’s 28 degrees this morning, high of 40, yet a comfortable 67 degrees inside. (We like to keep it cooler in the winter.) I am very thankful for your prompt and professional response to my emergency heating needs. I’m very thankful for Tony, Weldon and their Maryland Sila team to resolve my heating issues. I will certainly recommend this company.

On time, professional, and provided all costs prior to making repairs. Great service.

My A/C was not cooling anymore. A Sila technician came to my house to diagnose my A/C system had a leak, he filled it up with Freon and said someone will call to schedule an appointment for the repair!
They will not charge me if I will need additional Freon.
Nobody called me. When I called Rachel she said a technician will call back, no call again!
My Freon ran out so I called again and spoke with Rachel, she scheduled an appointment however advised me I will have to pay again the $149 fee for them to come out, which I did not agree with since they came already out for the same thing just did not repair it due to their schedule conflict! Further they said it will cost me about $400 again in Freon! So without them attempting to repair my A/C I paid already $550 in service fee and Freon and was looking again at $500 plus repair!
Evan the supervisor is very unprofessional!
Needless to They did install my A/C and it was always serviced by them.
My initial call was to get the A/C repaired they were not able to do it so basically without even attempting to repair my A/C I will be paying them more then $1000

My electric bills have been much higher this year than last despite routine owner maintenance, so I called SILA to perform a system check. Bob arrived right on time, checked the system and found it low on refrigerant. After adding refrigerant, he checked the system again and found a warm spot in the duct above the blower. He investigated further and found that two of three resistors controlling the emergency heat system had short-circuited and melted in the "on" position. He turned off the emergency heat system and advised me about the cost of replacing the damaged resistors at a later date. He made it clear that replacing the resistors could be done later without compromising the performance of the AC system. I was impressed by Bob's thoroughness and conscientiousness in ensuring that my AC system was in good working order after he added the refrigerant. His knowledge of the system and persistence in tracing the source of the cooling issue spared me another service call and more exorbitant electric bills. I highly recommend SILA and their technician Bob. Excellent, honest work.

Arrived on time. Did what was needed. Excellent service.
