As per the Recent updates on the case complaint Id,we would like to update that though at our end whatever possibilities was to send the totally new lights as replacement,we did for the Customer: we Received a pack-bad batteriesReplaced work as intended, reshipped new : USPS

Review: I ordered a solar powered pump from the Silicon Solar website on 5-12-14. My Capital One Visa card was charged for the amount of $144.40. The invoice# [redacted]. I have not received this order as of 10-13-14. I have attempted both telephonic and e-mail contact with customer support on numerous occasions. Throughout the summer months, I was told that the unit was in production due to back order and would be shipped soon. I did not receive the order or any updates from the company. Feeling very frustrated, I finally decided to request a refund due to the poor customer service and negligence to deliver the product. I have called customer support 4 times and still a refund has not been given. Just as the case was with the order, I keep getting a run around regarding manager approvals and return phone calls. And of course, I have not been contacted by the company and have not received the product or refund.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $144.40 which was charged to my Capital One Visa credit card. I also want the Revdex.com to be aware of this company's poor customer service practices.

Review: I placed order [redacted] on 9/18/2014, and was never informed of any stock issue or potential backorder. My credit card was charged, and after two weeks I had still not received the product. On 10/1, I emailed Matt Farrell who I placed the order with, and he forwarded me inquiry to Hannah in customer service. I was informed that there was a delay in shipment, but that the product should be shipped within the coming days. After no further communication, I contacted customer service once again on 10/20/2014, and was again told that my order would be shipping within a few days. On 11/18/2014, I contacted customer service yet again, and was told my order would be shipped by the week ending 11/21/2014. It is currently 11/20/2014, and I have received no further communication from this company.

In doing research, this is a regular occurrence for Silicon Solar, and they should not be allowed to do business.Desired Settlement: I want the product I ordered, and paid for 2 months ago, immediately.

Review: In August 2013 I purchased a solar GenLight 108 LED Solar Sign Light with 150W of illumination for the purpose of lighting the sign into my community. I also purchased the solar panel, plus an additional 10W solar panel and wiring for the installation of this light. The light worked beautifully for approximately 6 months and then did not light at all. It was replaced by Silicon Solar because it went bad and the second light only lasted for about 6 months. These lights come with a 3 year warranty per the website specifications. The second light was tested by an electrical contractor and found to have the power it needed from the solar panel, however it too ceased to light. When I called the company in July of 2014 I was told that nothing was available at that time but inventory was expected by the end of January 2015. I was also told I could expect a replacement light at that time. At this time, I still have a sign without illumination and have not received a replacement. After making numerous (almost daily) calls to Silicon Solar with promises that someone from customer service will call me. No one has!Desired Settlement: I have been told that there is a replacement light fixture available and would like a replacement. If that doesn't happen, a refund would be in order. My total cost for this light, pole mount for fixture, wire and solar panels was $487.60. Original order #29609 was issued on 7/16/13. Once again, this light and accessories are shown to come with a 3 year warranty.Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.[redacted]

Contacted them in November and December 2014 via email asking for product or refund

They responded saying they are looking into matter

Contacted twice again in January 2015 via phone asking for refund

No response as of 1/28/15
