Review: I went into the Silk Hair Studio on 11/12/2015 for a 12:30pm appointment. During the appointment a relaxer treatment was done. When the treatment was partially through I informed the stylist that my scalp was burning and she said ok and continued the services like I said nothing. When she finally rinsed my hair I continued to let her dry and style my hair since I had already had the relaxer out of my head and at the time there was no damage. While she was using a hot curler she burned my scalp more than four times. Each time I said ouch and she said in a calm way sorry. Once she was done I paid her and left. During Saturday I ran my fingers through my hair and felt a scab from where my hair was burned. I asked my husband to feel through my scalp and take a picture in which he felt the same thing. I contacted the salon Monday morning 11/16/2015 and they were not open. I contacted them today and the person who answered the phone asked me what was wrong? When I told her she huffed and sighed and blew it off like oh well we own a shop so we are high and mighty. To me it seemed as if I was in a way being told that because they have a hair salon and have money that I would not win a court case against them. I do not appreciate the service I received and feel I should be paid for my pain and suffering as well. I feel this due to the fact that she being a professional should have tested a strand of my hair first before just slapping it in my hair, which she did not do. Then when I told her it was burning she still applied the rest and done it in a manner like I had said nothing.Desired Settlement: I feel that I should receive a refund and $200.00USD for my pain and suffering and all that I had to endure during this process.
