Review: Dry cleaning was dropped off the week of September 30 and promised to be ready on October 9, 2013, after some minutes of deliberation while the dry cleaner asked about the pillow stuffing and seemed to contemplate a price for the work ($25.00). On October 10, one day after the work was to be finished, an attempt was made to pick up the promised dry cleaned pillow. The shop owner said it was not done, asked if it could be picked up on the following day and made no response to the customer's complaint that he had not called to inform the customer, even though he had taken my phone number at the time he took the item and gave a promised finish date for the work. "No, that was not on my driving route for the following day and would mean a minimum of 20 additional miles out of my way," was my response. Later that same afternoon the dry cleaner called to say the work was done and I could come pick it up. I explained the inconvenience of additional mileage and cost, not to mention my time and asked that the cost of the work be discounted for this inconvenience. He responded with a succinct, "NO" and no further attempt to make amends. Two days following the item was picked up at the dry cleaners. Again, he made no attempt to apologize for the inconvenience/expense he had caused by not having the item completed in a timely manner nor from not having contacted the customer. He then stated that he was charging an additional 4% to the bill because payment was offered via credit card and pointed to a small sign on the cash register. At no time when he discussed the price of the work did he mention that there would be additional fees for payment by credit card. I gave him one more opportunity to apologize of adjust the price due to his fault in not having completed the work in a timely manner nor calling the customer to inform them; my alternative was to contact the Revdex.com. His response was, "Go ahead! I usually throw out people like you." Then he further remarked that he had looked up my address to find that it was only 20 miles round trip out of my way, rather than 40 miles, insinuating that I had not been truthful.

The entire experience in dealing with this business was distasteful. Thank you in advance for registering this complaint.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from this man at Silkwood and the return of the 4% charge for the use of credit card as he did not explain this surcharge when we discussed price and the amount was in excess of $25. Since I was not paying for anything, there was no reason that I would have looked at the index card sign on the cash register, explaining this highly unusual policy.

The day the woman came to pick up the pillow, She was not in good mood. when I told her that the pillow will be ready tomorrow, she was very angry but went home.

Later that day she call me and complaint about my business. Next day she return to my business to pick up the pillow and more complaint about she drove 20 miles to get here so she should not pay for the dry cleaning bill. I told her that distance between her home and my business is 10 miles. I told her she should pay for the bill. Before she came over for second day I was going to give her discount for the extra trip to my business. My reason for giving her pillow day late was I want to make sure dry cleaning chemical is completely eliminated before I gave it back to my customer. She never gave me chance to explain it to her. My 19 years dry cleaning service business, she is one and only person who does not want pay for my service. People always make mistake. I made mistake not having ready her pillow. She should be little bit

respectful to others. I have sign posted for over 6 month that person who pay with credit card will be charged 4% service charge please pay the bill wit check or cash.
