have money for him when the project in not even half way doneMy wife works full time and I pay any bills with money I received, which the contractor wanted and the house was not even half way doneas for the money I told him keep the $we were looking for money back that he continued to badger me for.if he was here on time everyday 8:30-5pm and didn't blow you off constantly and make up excuses why he did not show up or not even get back to you until hours after none of this would've happened here we are it was suppose to be a project done on august 10th we gave our deposit and we were nice enough to postpone it for him until 18th.We told him our Daughter had a birthday Party we were planning on september 3rdThen Thursday August 18th rolls around no contact with Mr [redacted] so we contact him , He says he will be there next day Friday August 19th that day comes he does not show up we contact him he tells us he will be there on Monday August 22nd we tell him we can't keep putting it off gives a attitude and says fine want to cancel come and get your money at the office on monday We said that's fine we can't keep getting the run aroundMr [redacted] contacts us on Sunday August 21st says he has no truck to get laddersso to get the job started with out more delays we offer to grab his ladders being nice and he did take off some money for that When Monday August 22nd comes and he never shows up we ask him if he is coming and he says no it rained at 5am (light sprinkle) but was super hot the rest of the day ,o.k so we let it go .Mr [redacted] tells us he will be there next day Tuesday August 23rd at 9:am ,Next day Mr [redacted] arrives at 9am and asks for money says he needs gas and food tells us if we buy it for him he will take it off are bill so husband feels bad and buys him some butts at the end of his hour work day Mr [redacted] still continued asking for more money saying he has no money for gas, food so we give him bucks was not to happy about it since he justed started and has not done much work yet ,but was trying to be kind to get him by in his situation Then MR [redacted] reassured us he will be back the next day at am and to have my next 1/house payment ready meaning half house completion (Our House is two Story Colonial) Still can't believe this since he has only worked for one day with him and one other gentleman I told him how is that possible when you have only been here for one day for hours and only sides of the house was scrapped and only one side was painted He tells me two sides will be painted so have my 1/ready I tell him that from what I know and hear from other painter half a house done is all scrapped caulking and one coat on body, trim and soffits He tells me that's not how he does it and tells me he doesn't know where I'm getting my information from.Tells me it will be done he will have painters with him I tell him please do it right and don't rush and do it half as August 24th Second day says he would be here at 8:30am but shows up at 11:15am with himself and another gentleman I still know that there no way that the house will be completed half way especially when half the day is gone he leaves at 5pm asking for the 1/told him the house is not half done only two sides of base of house are painted one coat the rest of house still needs scrapping, repairs ,body painted and trim .Was starting to become extremely upset then says will you buy me pizza and ill wright that off your bill told him can not give anymore money until job gets done Tells us they need the money for his God sons Birthday and mother has no money to throw him a party so they want to be able to give him a good birthday that day can we at least give them dollars tell him no more money can't risk it until job is done like contract states already gave more money upfront with barely any work August 25th shows up at 8:30am is here with himself and gentleman Mr [redacted] begs for us to buy more butts and says he will take it off the bill so we buy him some more packs to get him buy works until 5pm house still is no where to being half done Mr [redacted] comes to us telling me if he can please buy him a pizza and he will take it off the bill we do and then continues to say can he please have some money for the Godsons birthday again being that we are good christian people and want to see the good in the cause decide to trust him and give him another dollars he thanks us and says he won't ask for anymore money until it's half way and will be here tomorrow at 830am Friday August 26th he does not come we ask him what happened said it rained in [redacted] will be there Monday at 8:30am family member said it never rained there Monday August 29th Mr [redacted] texts can't come until 11am I had to work overnight , 11am rolls around he is not here we contact him he says can't come today he hired two new employees will be there tomorrow at 8:30am Tuesday August 30th No call no show from Mr *** does not respond to textsTill 11:30pm after We started letting people know what was going on We were being scammed Due to Mr [redacted] non compliant business we had to push daughter birthday out further and hire another painter We are good people not looking to trash anyone's company just disappointed and would like to inform his current/future customersI know Mr [redacted] is trashing our name and accusing us of stealing his stuff We are not stealing his ladders and toolsWe are just holding his ladders until he returns the money we gave upfront to help with Mr [redacted] n ***'s situations before the house was half way painted liked stated in contract that he wrote upSince he was so nice to post our address feel free to stop by and look at his spotty work If we where such terrible people as Mr [redacted] says we are why would we supply the painters with a cooler full of ice water and GatoradeMr [redacted] also watered down paint, never mixed paintWe also told him if he
