associate, the associate told the customer you'll need to purchase envelopes which we have over there (pointing to the envelopes). The the associate stated I'll get the labels ready, customer picked up two envelopes and didn't making sure they were the correct size for the books, the associate stated the envelopes are too small and the customer stated back you don't have to give me attitude, the associate answered back I'm not, just trying to helpThe customer stated that all the envelopes looked alike and the associate answered back there are various sizes and that all you college students are a like you don't know what you’re doing.After the customer placed the books in the envelopes, he proceeded to wad up the tape strips with the bar code that had the cost of the envelopes, the associate then said I need that to be able to charge for the envelopesThe customer stated he wasn’t aware of the bar codes being on the tape stripsAfter the associate rang up the envelopes and stated the cost, the customer then threw the money at the associateThe associate took the money and gave change. Then the associate placed the shipping labels on the packages and gave a receipt for the shipping and said good bye and took the packages in the backThe customer stood there and demanded to see the associate, at that point the associate told the customer they had nothing else to say to him. This might not have been the best or most professional customer service given from our store and we will strive in the future to better serve our customers.Donna S*The UPS store #
