Rename Sell Out and Sedentary
I chose Cigna Medicare Advantage in part because of the wellness program they claimed to offer. Unfortunately, once I learned the details, the wellness plan is not what was represented and has gotten worse as Silver and Fit (S&F) sells out its Cigna members.
I am unable to earn wellness rewards until after my annual Doctor Wellness visit. Having an October birthday, and historically having my annual check-up around that time, means I am unable to earn rewards for 75% or more of the year.
Now, S&F has determined that the gym I use three (3) to five (5) times per week is no longer suitable for me and has moved to severely curtail the hours during which I may visit. Studies have shown that those who are active also have lower medical costs. Apparently, S&F is taking the contrarian view and would rather I be more sedentary.
It is harder and harder to see any benefit from S&F.

Horrible customer service
Was on medicare advantage duel plan. Plans change due to the public health emergency. DSHS put me back on the duel plan. Silver and fit generates a new code each time the fitness ID changes. Went through the process. Messed up fitness membership even though was still active member. Customer service said to go to fitness center to start new membership. That is not how it works. The problem is with silver and fit, not the fitness center. They left me in complete limbo until the complaint is resolved with SF management. I'm getting a total run around and did not even start the issue.

Silver and fit not paying for full membership
Silver and Fit Change their policy about paying for classes that are on the facilities property but not in the facility itself. They paid for the class last summer 2022.

Called Silver and Fit. Did not get a response except yes that is the new policy.

Policy Change one: Class must be in a facility.

The class is on facility property just a few feet out the door.

Policy change two: Silver and Fit paid for Fitness in the Park class in 2021 summer because of Covid.

Covid is still a problem so why would you cancel the Fitness in the Park class of 2022 summer.

My insurance said silver and fit would pay for my gym membership. The fitness inthe park classes are a part of the gym classes. I feel that silver and fit is not paying for my whole membership.

Terrible!
I have Silver and Fit through my Medicare advantage plan and it has been good...until this year! We are being offered free workout equipment to use at home. I ordered my DVDs on January 8, I got a message that they were shipped on January 9. It is now February 12 and I have yet to receive them! After numerous calls, all of their reps have a different story. Shortage of products, USPS is too busy, Covid-19, etc. I believe that they are delaying shipment until they make sure I don't change advantage plans before the end of March. I don't intend to do that but I am very angry that no one in charge will return my calls and give me an honest explanation.

Terrible to work with
Their membership is foolishly October to October. If you sign up in September, it is only good for one month. And if you forget to pay it, they unenroll you and you don't get credit for the time you missed. They will not consider it any other way.

Don't expect any help either. No wonder the health clubs hate them.

I have Kaiser Senior Advantage Plus with a benefit of Silver and Fit. However, when I enter my information correctly on the very poorly designed Silver and Fit website to get the code so I can join a gym, it says I cannot be located. The website has no contact information, no way to straighten anything out.
I am paying a premium for this benefit and they seem to be taking advantage by refusing to provide service. How to contact them? How to get them to acknowledge that I am entitled to their program (Kaiser confirms that I am). Any help would be appreciated. So far, this has been very frustrating and worthless.

I have been a S&F member for 11 years at the same gym through Kaiser Medicare at no extra charge. Now the gym is charging an extra $180 per year. I called S&F to ask if this was acceptable as part of their contract with this gym. They would not even answer my question without my giving my medical number and personal data. Not OK...

I am a member of Silver & Fit, but they still have fulfilled getting my local gym set up. Today I made another follow up call to S&F and this they couldn’t even find my gym. This after they had identified my gym on a previous call. They have not been very helpful and don’t seem to want take ownership toward getting answers. Not a positive start.

I wanted to change my gym membership but it took them a month to get back to me about this issue, by that time I decided to stay with my gym and they said I could do so. Then I get a letter from them saying that my membership had changed but I figured this was a mistake so I kept going to my same gym. Today I found out that these mns did change my gym membership even though they told me over the phone that they did not. Now I can't go to either gym because the one they enrolled me in requires a key fob to get in and I don't have time to go pick one up. I don't want to go to that gym anyway. I complained to kaiser permanente about these mn.

We contacted Mr. [redacted] in regards to his complaint and he advised the post office returned the Money Order to him last week. 
Mr. [redacted] advised he mailed the MO back to us with a signature requirement. 
We have not received it yet but will call Mr. [redacted] to confirm we received it and
complete his enrollment.

Review: This business is doing something very nefarious. They tell me that I can get a 10% discount for my gym being affiliated with them .. How ever first they tell my gym that I pay then and they reimburse me. Then they tell me no that is not the way it goes. but they refuse to contact the gym to tell them this they tell me to go tell the gym . I say I have many times. Does this sound confusing? of course. The last conversation I got was the gym gets no money they just get the joy of being affiliated with them which is bull. They are up to something and refuse to cooperate in any way. They tell me lie after lie. They refuse to talk to my insurance, to me or to the gym just keep this spinning as long as they can. They should not even exist. I think they are ripping off people and insurance companiesDesired Settlement: I would like them to pay my gym 10% but also a through investigation into this business because they are up to something. It is like I have entered the twilight zone when I talk to them . I cannot believe the lies they tell . They reverse their position right in the middle of talking to you. If you ask them direct question . as simple as" how is my gym supposed to bill you" they stop and reverse the conversation. This means they are trying to exist with out paying out any money at all

related to your Silver&Fit® affinity program. The Silver&Fit affinity program is a product provided by ASH

Fitness to Medicare Advantage health plans, which in turn make the program available to their enrollees in

those plans. You appear to object to the nature of the affinity discount model made available under your

Medicare Advantage plan.

Under the Silver&Fit affinity program, members have access to a network of Fitness Facilities and Exercise

Centers that offer a minimum discount of 10% off of enrollment fees and/or monthly membership dues or

exercise sessions. This discount is applied to the standard public rates offered by facilities and centers. The

consumer pays the fitness facility according to the agreement entered into with the facility at the discounted

rate. The Silver&Fit affinity program does not pay any portion of membership fees with the fitness facility nor

does it compensate the participating facilities in the program. The discount program is available to you at no

additional cost as part of your Medicare Advantage plan.

ASH Fitness reached out to the fitness facility in question regarding this issue. The facility demonstrated that

they understood how the affinity program in which you participate works and the facility advised ASH Fitness

that they have honored the discount for you.

Review: sent money order on 03/07/2015 to pay for payment for membership to YMCA at a discount, as of 05/11/2015 it still has not been cashed, they told me that thy did not have it till a week and half ago an up to day 05/11/2015 it still has not been cashed, delaying my membership to the YMCA.Desired Settlement: Want the process completed. and them put on file.
