Review: On Saturday March **, 2014 I placed a purchase order for a GE 22 Cubic Foot Refrigerator for $1461.98 with Silver City Appliances and paid with a personal check, with salesman [redacted]. Within 2 hours from this transaction I called [redacted] to cancel the order. He assured me the order could be cancel, but asked me to call back on Sunday March ** at opening of the business day to confirm. I called and spoke with [redacted] on Sunday as requested and he confirmed the order was cancelled although there may be small fee since the appliance was already on the truck for delivery. A few days later in checking the balance on my account I realized my check had been cashed. I immediately contacted [redacted]. He was surprised and had not actually recalled I paid by check and assured me he would have a refund out to me ASAP. Since that time, my husband and I have repeatedly called Silver City, leaving messages for or speaking with [redacted] who every time tells us "I have to tell the girl who writes the check and she isn't here..I'll call you back tomorrow." Yet he never calls us. My husband even stopped in to Silver City in person on Wednesday May [redacted] and was told the same thing by [redacted] promised an answer by Friday morning and promised to call us. My husband called [redacted] Friday afternoon when yet again there had been no follow-through and [redacted] stated, "the girl who writes the check will be in on Monday". At this point, since 57 days have passed since the original transaction, we feel we have no other recourse than to report this to the Revdex.com and ask for assistance in receiving our refund in full.Desired Settlement: Our desired outcome would be an immediate and full refund of our initial purchase order payment of $1461.98.

On May ** I received a refund check for the full amount of the cancelled purchase order along with a note from [redacted]. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: We bought $33,000.00 worth of appliances from this store and they ordered the wrong cooktop. They admitted they ordered the wrong number appliance. The cooktop I wanted had a certain style of grates. It's been over 2 months and they keep telling us they're working on it. They're giving us the run around and all I want are the other grates. I hope you can help me. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want the other grates.
