Silver Dollar City, LLC

We just recently was at Silver Dollar city and was very disappointed. My finance is disabled and he had brought his own motorized scooter in with him. We got to the bottom of Silver Dollar city and had trouble with the scooter and couple of workers and come over to assist. I told them we would rent one of theirs and was told that a scooter was available. I walked to the top to where the rentals was and the lady said yes, she had one there saved for me and to go over to the window and fill out the paper work. After waiting several minutes because they only had one window available I finally was told by the man at the window that that scooter was not for me it was being held for a man. I said yes and he is at the bottom of the hill and not able to get up here so I walked up to pick it up for him. I was again told it is not for him and I said how do you know since you have not asked for a name. He said I know because he is not here yet. I said well we will be dealing with an ambulance because that is only way he will be coming out and if I don't get back there he will go into panic attacks. I motioned to the lady that had the scooter saved and came over and she was told this was not mine and then she told the man at window that she had another one she would bring out. After filling out the paperwork I was told I could not take the scooter to him because I was not the one that the scooter was for and the lady would have to take the scooter to the bottom and train him on their scooter. OK so why did the worker at the bottom of this hill know this so we could of had the people at the top bring us the scooter to the bottom with the paper work. I walked back down to the bottom of the hill following the scooter going down. On way down I over heard two security officers talking about a fat man on a scooter that was broke down and there wasn't anyway in [redacted] he was pushing a scooter to the top of the hill. They had no idea that I was connected to the broke down scooter. My man got on the Silver Dollar city scooter and I asked what the plan was to get his scooter out and he said he didn't know I asked if security had come over and he said yes but they had left and didn't know what they planed on doing. I started pushing his scooter towards out from the bottom of Silver Dollar City and a man came over to assist me he was a street worker with Silver Dollar City his name was [redacted] he assisted me to the top and asked them where we could charge up the scooter and was told to take it to ticket gate 7 and so off we went to ticket both 7 and could not find a plug in and one of the ticket ladies came out and said we have no plug ins who sent you over here and [redacted] said people that rent the scooters and she told us to take it to customer service area and plug it in. I then left to go back in and was stopped at the gate the same gate I just pushed scooter out of to see my ticket ( ar) you kidding me couldn't se me pushing a dead scooter out of here) ok showed my paid ticket went back in to find a restroom and I walked thru the building and out to park looking for a sign that says where the restroom are and no signs that I could see maybe because I was already sweaty and agervated I go back inside the building to ask where are your restrooms and was told they are outside and to the left. I get out and look to the left and don't see any sign of a restroom. I asked a worker standing there and she said just walk down sidewalk to the left and you will run into it, ok I walk but I wondering why there isn't any signs. It was about 5:20 and I went down hill ways to find my man and found him on the your scooter I told him that I was going down to find the umbrella place to see about getting my 3 yr old granddaughter one and when I got there she was putting stuff up and said she would not be able to personalize it to come back tomorrow (are you kidding m 30 minutes before the park closes and she is putting stuff up) I said fine and left thinking it was 35 years ago was the last time I was here and it would be another 35 years before I come back. I decided I had enough of this place I was ready to leave this park has become to commercial with rides and water slides why not leave this to the amusement parks. This use to be about showing how we did things years ago and we had only seen couple people making stuff. I went back to get our scooter and customer service and thought they would of had emergency exit to get out and was told I would have to go out the exit everybody leaves by so I was pushing the scooter back out thru your exit by way of a shop ( guess you want to make sure people buy something on their way out but I had made up my mine I was not buying anything after my day.) It was fun trying to guide a scooter by myself when you have all breakable stuff in their and when I stopped to take a break a man that was there visiting helped me push scooter out of the building to the parking area.
What I have to say is that your workers are not crossed trained like lady at to the bottom was shocked that I was not aloud to ride the scooter down the hill. [redacted] was shocked that what we were told to take the scooter to ticket both 7 to plug in. Both people are not at fault because they work different areas but I said don't they have training class and each department go over things like this.

Then reading that this park is on Christian. By all the scooters I seen in the park we were not the only handicap person there.

I will tell my family and friends of what I think about Silver Dollar City experience and this is was not fun at all. To commercial
