*** ***'s daughter did indeed take a few lessons with one of our new instructors beginning in the Fall. When I, the original and current, business owner found out

Letters were given to students as they came to the barn, instructors were to tell all of their students the situation if I wasn't there to tell them myself (and I know that Mrs ***'s instructor did in fact tell her about the changes at her lesson the first week of December), it was posted on social media sites (in which Mrs *** was a member), etc. As Mrs *** states, she missed quite a few lessons during the month of December, and while we regret that she claims to have missed out on information, it cannot be helped that she was not at the farm for several weeks
The instructor that taught Mrs ***'s daughter was a new employee as of October and highly qualified for her position. This employee made an error in recording Mrs ***'s payment history, so on Feb 3rd when Mrs *** sent an email stating that she wanted a refund we told her that we were happy to give her a check but that it would be helpful for her to provide check numbers so that we could clear up the error quickly. She provided this information and on February 5th I sent her a long email explaining that her check was in the mail, we were sorry to see them go, and why there was confusion about her payment along with an apology for my employee's oversight. Two days after requesting a refund, a check was mailed and she was emailed with this information. She replied within hours that she appreciated the refund and acknowledged the miscommunication that had occurred. The check was cashed days later, we owe her nothing and never had a problem with sending her a refund.
Regarding our facility, the pictures on the website were taken in the Spring. Obviously the grass isn't as lush and green in the middle of the Winter. Our facility is in safe order, pastures are seeded and fertilized regularly, our horses are happy and healthy and our students are happy and love our program. We are proud of the business that we run and have a large number of happy clients that would agree
