I recently took the Brooklyn Tour and it was excellent; well plannedSilver Mill now uses mini buses to transport patrons from other towns at the shoreline to meet the main bus at a primary pick up locationIt works! The tour was well coordinated, the StGuide, Tom was extremely knowledgeable and a great historian about all things BrooklynLeo our tour coordinator was friendly and caring about everyoneThe bus driver was excellentFor the price this was well worth it, and a trip I would take againLast, Rosie is overworked and needs a raise--or an assistant

This company booked a sightseeing cruise with ours for 18 people. The people took the cruise July 21, 2018, but Silver Mill Tours has yet to pay our company. I will report this EVERYWHERE, and would give it 0 stars if I could.

I recently took the Brooklyn Tour and it was excellent; well planned. Silver Mill now uses mini buses to transport patrons from other towns at the shoreline to meet the main bus at a primary pick up location. It works! The tour was well coordinated, the Step-on Guide, Tom was extremely knowledgeable and a great historian about all things Brooklyn. Leo our tour coordinator was friendly and caring about everyone. The bus driver was excellent. For the price this was well worth it, and a trip I would take again. Last, Rosie is overworked and needs a raise--or an assistant.

Review: I booked a tour that was later cancelled by the tour company in June 2015. The cost of $938.00 charged to my credit card. Another tour date was provided and I was unable to go. I have since made four telephone calls to inquire about my refund. I was told I will get my money back but have not received it. I sent an email complaint directly to the operator as well with no response at all. Can you help this situation? Review: I booked a trip with Silver Mill Tours on June 5, 2015 to [redacted]. for the dates of July 3-5, 2015. I mailed my check #[redacted] in the amount of $938.00 for two people (my husband and myself) on June 5. On June 27, 2015, Rosie from Silver Mill called me to say the trip had to cancel due to the fact that the next week very heavy rains were anticipated and the entire [redacted] reenactment cancelled. She said it would reschedule for August 7. I could not go because I already had a concert scheduled for that date. The following is a listing of dates I called Silver Mill Tours and their responses:

July 14, 2015: Spoke w/Rosie, asked for my refund and was told there were other people ahead of me to get a refund, she had to refund in the order the checks were received.

July 18, 2015: Spoke with them again. Doing checks next week, should receive by July 25.

July 31, 2015: My husband called and spoke with Rosie and asked for our refund. She was surprised he called and said we should receive the check no later than August 5, 2015.

August 9, 2015: My husband called and was promised check going out this week.

August 11, 2015: left message for Donna, no returned call.

August 14, 2015, left message for Donna, no returned call.

August 17, 2015: Vinny talked with Rosie. He was upset and she told him well do what you have to do. and hung up. He called her back and said he is just frustrated with the run around and she understood and said she will track down Donna (the person making the checks out & owner of company) and will call us back. I told her I was possibly interested in another trip (that way I could get my money back that way) and she said no she will call me with check number and email copy of check. Also gave us Donna's number.

August 17, 2015: left message for Donna twice that day, no returned call.

August 18, 2015: left message for Donna, no returned call.

August 24, 2015: left message for Donna, no returned call.

August 18: From Rosie to me: Ck #[redacted] going out in the am mail, PLEASE let me know when you get it.

August 24: from me to Rosie: Well it's been one day short of a week and I did not receive the ck that was supposed to be in the am mail last Tuesday. What is going on???

August 27: from me to Rosaie: Hi Rosie. I still didn't get the ck. Send me a copy of ck thru email. Thanks.

August 27: from Rosie to me: Do you have a fax that I can send it to

August 27: It is my phone number or you can send by taking a picture from your phone and send it that way. thank you.

August 28: From Rosie to me: I just sent you a picture of the check. Please let me know that you received it.

August 28: from me to Rosie: No I did not receive it.Desired Settlement: I don't want to hear the check went out week after week. I am very frustrated and have been so very patient and understanding and just cant believe that they keep lying to me. I would like my refund of $938.00

Review: Stayed with our hotel in October 2011. Paid by check that bounced.Has been giving us the run around since then. Took to court. Hotel won all judgements. Still hasn't paid.Has been served papers.Hasn't returned one call or email in over a year at the least. Due to business' shady practices, has been terminated from trade associations.Desired Settlement: I want to get paid for the service we provided for what this company's customers paid for. $3700.00

Review: I purchased a trip tour to Canada which was later cancelled due to lack of participation. I was told I would receive a full refund and have yet to been provided with the refund of $918.00.Desired Settlement: A full refund for the cancelled trip I paid for.
