I have been renting apartments in Chicago for over years, and this management company is the worst one I ever encounterThey manage the property own by *** ***
Last month (November) the boiler in the building broke down and there was no heatSince the temperatures outside where in the low teens, I requested the status update on repairsI was informed that the company is looking for the part to the boiler that is years old, and that it will take some time to find it, since the boiler is obsoleteThey spend two weeks looking for the partIn the meantime, the temperature in my apartment dropped to degreesMy Thanksgiving holidays were quite miserable and stressfulUnder the city ordinance landlords have hours to fix the problemIt took Silver Property Group two weeks to replace the boiler, however there is still not enough heat in the apartmentThe temperature in the apartment is about degrees most of the time, which is below the city ordinance requirementThere is high humidity in the apartment, so the mold started to grow on the windowsThe conditions in the apartment are quite ugly and unbelievableIt is terrible how this company is mismanaging the buildingThe courtyard is always messy, the stairs are full of staff that blocks my entrance, so it's hard for me to go in and out of the apartmentAt times the maintenance person stands or sits on the stairwaysHe blocks my entrance to the building, and is slow to move and to let me passHe smokes cigarettes and droops the cigarette’s buds on the ground, so there is always a mess that rarely gets cleaned upThe luck of professionalism and terrible customer service is remarkableSince I was complaining a lot about the above situations, the property manager asked me to move outI am unable to move out yet, since it’s the middle of the winter, and the holiday season, therefore I’m unable to find any apartmentsThey threat me with the lease termination, so it looks that we will be resolving this situation in the courtIf you are looking for professional management company that provides excellent services, this is not the one, stay away from this one, and keep looking

Horrible experience all the way aroundMy partner and I applied for one of their apartments and were denied, despite meeting all the income/background requirements listed on their website and in the application They cited unsatisfactory credit scores, despite never informing us of the required minimum (our scores range from 650-705) Best of all, they refused to return $120-worth of app fees Complaints already filed with Revdex.com & *** Also, just terrible response time and customer service in general
