This woman started the insults and threats as soon as we told her there are no refunds for cancellations within this short of a time period

QWhat is the cancellation policy?
ABecause I drive to most of my classes and have to make arrangement well in advance to fill a class it is important that you do not make a reservation that you can not keep. If you need to cancel your registration your fee will be fully refunded if you cancel or more days before the class is scheduled to take place you will receive a full refund, hopefully we can fill your spot. If you are a no-show or cancel with less than days notice your entire class fee is subject to forfeiture

As you can see there is no reference to getting your money back because of rainAt the time it would have taken for her to drive to the class from the address on her registration the Doppler showed it clear all the way
I looked up the weather from her area to the class and it showed less than a 1/inch expected for three locationsSince it appeared the rain would be minimal I did invite her to come to class by email, the night before and she ignored it
I asked her for proof to the inches of rain during her driving time because I thought it might be reasonable to give a partial refund if she had a legitimate reasonI do consider it a NO-Show since she had an opportunity to get there
Here is the note she sent to me after I pointed out the expected rain would be minimal: "Since you refuse to reschedule me or refund my money, and you did it in such a bully kind of way, I am demanding a refundIf you do not refund my money, I will notify the Revdex.com and the entire internet that your customer service skills *** and you are undesirable as a teacher."
The service was provided to all the students who attendedI got rave reviews from each of them which reflects upon my desirability as a teacherMany of my students travel many hours to attend my classes and I try very hard to maintain a good reputation and certainly don't appreciate her threatening me. I have never been a bully and don't see how she could come up with thatI will not be extorted because someone decided she didn't want to attend a class at the last minute
Her request to transfer to another class was ingenious, here is her statement, " I know you are travelling a long distance for the workshop and I regret that I can’t make it because of weather conditions. If you are ever in Knoxville, I would appreciate it if you would let me take the class at that time."
I don't teach in Knoxville and do not expect to in the near future If this were a concert, or play or ball game or any other pre planned event that required a ticket to be purchased in advance she would not be granted a refund eitherI travel hours to teach this class and consider it very inconsiderate to think my time is worthless and that she shouldn't have to pay because she didn't want to take the class where and when it is being heldI still have expenses to pay

I want and need a refund. I was willing to reschedule in the beginning because on his website he says he is looking for a beads business in Knoxville where he can offer classes. Obviously, his research regarding the weather forecast did not include 1.79 inches of rain, occurring in the morning hours between 5 and 10 am. At any rate, he is unwilling to concede his cancellation policy should not apply since it was not posted on his homepage in a prominent location. I will not be satisfied by anything but a refund and the prominent positioning of his policy on the site. Can you review your remarks to me made on the phone and say that you are a reasonable business person who cares about future business? My perception tells me you just want the money and you care nothing about business.
