Yes, as the complainant is explaining in her email,  the individual failed to pass the test on Friday January 23, 2015 and as a courtesy when I was asked by my assistant if he could come back on Saturday to re-take the test, without hesitation I...

said sure!.  because I am teaching a class on the weekends which runs from January 3, -Feb 1, 2015 from 9:00- am-12:15 p.m..  The girlfriend of this individual calls on Saturday in the middle of the day to confirm this information but, her argument was that website is saying the contrary from what my assistant told her boyfriend, again he is trying to tell that if I told him to be there at 12:30 that I will be there waiting for him but she refuses to take his word for it and demands that he puts in writing.  He replied to her that if they don't want to come they do not have to come.
If I knew this was going create so much trouble for trying to accommodate this individual, I would have told this person to come outside my business hours.  Sometimes you can't be nice to people.   For your convenience, I have attached a  link of my weekend classes which confirms the class  I've been teaching on the weekends, so this proofs that we were not lying to them.  Please keep in mind that our business hours is different from our classroom hours as you can see from our website.  For your Information, I am the wife and the owner  Mr. C[redacted] which is person she spoke to.  We take pride in the service we provide to our customers.    [redacted] .

We have nothing to apologize for.  They are welcome to go to another school to complete their driving improvement program.  She was very rude and disrespectful over the telephone.   After this experience we don't want their business.

Silver Spring Driving Academy gladly took our money when we registered our son for the required driving class. The tuition for this class includes 6 hours of mandatory supervised driving. When the classroom portion was completed we discovered there were no openings for the driving portion. If we had known this ahead of time we certainly would have chosen a different location for the class. The best case scenario is that he completes the driving portion 4 months after the classroom portion. This is entirely unacceptable. Because of this incredible lack of forthrightness and service my son has been forced to forfeit the job he had lined up for the summer since it required him to have a driver's license. Horrible!

Review: My fiancé and I traveled to their locatio on Friday 01/23 to complete the the required program from the state of Maryland to obtain a drivers license. My fiancé failed the written part of the test and was told to come back at 12:30PM that following day. When we looked at their listing on Google around 11AM on 1/24 we noticed that the location was only open between 9AM-12PM. In a panic, because we are not residence of Maryland and have to travel 30+ mins to this facility, we called to confirm that it was okay to come at 12:30. A man answered the phone, almost yelling saying that they close at 12PM. When we explained the situation, his response was "if they told you to come at 12:30 then come" this was confusing to me because he just said they were in fact closing at 12. I explained to him that I didn't have anything I writing saying that we have/had this appointment and I just wanted him to verify ir say he would check with someone to see that they really were expecting us after they closed. I'm not sure if he didn't understand that we did not live in that state and that this is more than a regular commute just to turn right back around if someone was not there at 12:30. The conversation went south from there. He became frustrated the more I asked for him to please, and I literally begged him please, to please just to confirm with a staff member that they were expecting us. I'm not sure why this has to turn into a screaming match. This went on about 10 mins and he says "if you don't want to come at 12:30 don't come, I don't care!" and hangs up the phone on me. I'm in an extremely panic now, this is a very important matter to both of us and we really are eager to complete this program. But I'm not sure how I can effectively communicate with this business.. Please help!

Thank you for you considerationDesired Settlement: I would like a sincere apology from the business causing me and my fiancé unecessary stress and to please find a more effective way in communicating to customers who are unfamiliar with this program and do not live in the sate of maryland

Review: I paid for my daughter, [redacted], to attend a two-week driver's education class in January. During this period, [redacted] had an emergency hospitalization which caused her to be unable to complete the class. She spoke to employees of the firm by phone on three occasions and was assured that she could complete the class in another of their regularly scheduled two-week courses. Later, when she tried to schedule this, she was told by the director (one of the staff who had assured her) that she would have to pay the tuition again. When she complained, he responded, "well, maybe I could let you do it for half price."

I sent an complaining email to the Academy about a month ago, accusing them of unsound business practice and promising to complain to the Revdex.com if they did not either refund [redacted]'s tuition or allow her to complete the class. There has been no response.Desired Settlement: As I requested of the Silver Spring Driving Academy, I would like them to either let my daughter complete their class or provide a full refund.

Review: I found this driving school by searching online. They actually have a few different online ads, all of which quote the same price, $280 for a package of 30 hours of classroom instruction plus 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. When I went to the actual website of the business I didn't see the price, but since there were several different ads all saying the same thing, I assumed it was the right price. So I pre-registered my daughter on their website and the next day (which is today, May 30 2014), my husband went to pay. He brought with him a paper I had prepared where I quoted the Yellow Pages ad saying "$20.00 Off If You Mention This Ad!" So they charged him $300. (He only paid half, like a downpayment.)

That didn't seem right. I spoke to their office on the phone today and they said that their price is $325 and that the ad is old and that they don't honor it any more. I said but I just saw it last night. They repeated that they don't honor it any more and the price is $325. Well isn't that false advertising?

Here's where I saw the ads: [redacted]

Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: So to me it seems that they should accept payment of the price that they advertise. I won't insist on the $20 off from the lower price. But if they don't make their prices visible on their website, but there are two places where they advertise a lower price, then they should honor those. And if the ads are old and they want to change their prices, then they should work it out with their advertisers.
