Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] and Silver Springs Apartment are lying regarding the apartment the apartment was dirty and not cleaned and now here in the lease agreement did it state that I took the apartment as isI also have a witnesses that could testify in the condition the apartment was in when I moved inI also took pictures upon move in and move out, and provided [redacted] the property manager with the Inventory and Condition Form the same day we moved in to the apartment Regards, [redacted]

Attached is the lease contract the first and last page of the original contract that was made for *** *** *** ***Also the
per-approval Check List before the can move in
We also have previous and after pictures of the unit were the *** were living at
I am kinda confused of the action that has been taking place because when *** *** *** *** came in the office to make a Promise to Pay for August 11, I was under the impression that they just needed more time to collect there rentAbout an hour later *** *** *** called to let me know that she would not be able to make a payment until the 11th of August, because that is when she would got paidI also explained if this would be an ongoing issue with making the payments late ever monthShe replied that next month would be on time

Hi, I am responding to the allegations brought by [redacted]. May I first state that when they came to inquire about an apartment, they were needing something ASAP. The manager stated that we did have one available but we had not gone in and completed the make ready, it still needed to be...

cleaned. We had the apartment fully painted and were waiting to have the tub resurfaced. They asked if they could go look at it and possibly take it the way it was. [redacted] and his son discussed and decided to go look at it, Carmen was already over by the apartment waiting for them. They went to the apartment and decided that they would take it as is and would do the cleaning. All of which is in the lease stating they would take it as is.
As far as the claim of Appliances not working, the owner was in there prior to them moving in and the stove was clean and functioning and the refrigerator was clean as well. I have pictures from when the previous tenants had move out showing the condition of the apartment, and we just had it repainted.
As far as the claim of roaches, We had been in there after the previous tenant had moved out and no indication of any roaches. As part of our normal treatment of the property, that entire building had been treated on June 25th and there were no notes that that unit had any issues with roaches. Even as of today going in there were no signs of roaches dead or alive.
As far as the concern with window locks, there are two windows in the front that had window locks and as of this morning, the back window with no access to it being it is on the second floor, did not have one. At the time the previous tenants moved out the window did have a lock. We had made sure of this due to making sure no one came back into the apartment. She claims the back window did not have a latch. I am not sure what happened to it.
As far as the painting and cleaning, We had a company come out and paint the entire unit, ( will have invoice to view if you want) the cleaning, again, it is in their lease that they accepted the unit "as is" and wanted to clean it so they could move in ASAP.
I do not feel that we breached our contract and do not owe them anything. The is something that I feel a little fish on the notification that they sent to us via mail. It was dated August 8th, and it had both the letter asking us to fix the issues, and a letter stating that they had move out. I am not sure how we can address issues when they tell us and have already moved out.
I do have pictures of the unit that were taken this morning and there are some additional damages to the unit such as a hole in the kitchen wall and the stove looks like it had been caught on fire. The top of the stove was very, very dirty. The refrigerator was pretty clean, for them to say it had mold in it.
We also have pictures on file of when the previous tenants had move out and the pictures of when the [redacted] moved out to compare. We tried to attach them to this report but it gave us an error and we had to start all over. If you would like pictures ,please contact us and let us know how to send them to you.
Again, I do feel something is not right with the [redacted] and how all of this came about. We feel we provide a nice apartment and we take care of them making sure all units are clean, and ready to move in. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

I am rejecting this response because: First of all the property manager is lying and I never agreed to take the apartment as is, also my husband was not in the contract because [redacted] made a second lease agreement with my name only and I signed it and another thing they just added the front of the lease agreement with the false notes and the checklist is also false [redacted] never once showed me that paper this is the first time I actually seeing it on here, all I know is that they need to stop lying and be honest with the Revdex.com.
