I am being denied to defer my car payment one month due to family death. I am told I have to make 6-12 payments. I had family death its home to them..
I had family death and I asked to have one month deferred, I have never heard of bank telling you That you have to qualify for deferred payment when you are dealing with grievances. It's joke to me I have to be in certain pay range to get help. I have had issues from day one with this bank on my loan I feel it's personal attack. They have not made anything easy for me with getting the loan, now they are making hard for me to ask for one month to be deferred I have never ever asked before with any other bank. I am shocked and disgusted that I am grieving a loss and I get told I have to have certain amount of payments to ask for help. I am sorry but if I am the client and I have Loan through you it's my choice to ask for this help. There should not be any mean I have to make so many payments to qualify sorry but you can't control deaths and you can't control grievance. Being denied that I am on edge to pull my loan and use another lender that actually treats people as people. After all if you didn't have my business and others that are the ones keeping you in business. My business keeps theirs in business and it's joke to me that they waited even day after my loan is due to tell me. I went in last week to ask. And they decided to contact me day after my due date where is their due diligence in responding correctly I even had to ask in email for response that day I asked. I was doing my part in communicating so why is that it's like pulling teeth with their bank to even get answers or be treated like a person? I feel this is very personal response and that I am being denied due to someone's personal agenda toward me. Also why wasn't I told that when I applied for the differ ? Why is their regulations not being corresponded correctly to their consumers? Why is it am waiting dat after my payment due. This is being personally done in a resentment way for who ever is offended I am standing up for my rights from day one when I got the loan. Nothing has been present with this whole process with my loan since I left the dealership. I am disgusted to see bank act this way and treat their consumers This way

Desired Outcome

I want my payment deferred I have done what was asked. I feel communication should been upfront from the begging when I asked. It's is not my fault you lack the proper training to your staff. Noir should I be held for it. I am grieving and had a huge loss to my family there should be human to what people go threw. It make their life harder when there is heart ship

Silver State Schools Constantly Steals money from my account with their over draft fees by the order that they process my transactions.
They have done this many times before with people that I know and I will not become a victim without blowing the whistle on this. I made two transactions the morning of the 15th, which I had plenty of money in my account to cover. (9am transactions) I transferred money to another card of mine and the money was immediately available from both of those morning transactions. Later in the day I made a bigger transaction to the same card this was around 4pm. SSSCU process this bigger transaction immediately, then processed the 9am. Transactions thereafter in order to rack up $32 a transaction overdraft fee. So instead of having them in order as the money was actually spent, they definitely made sure they did the biggest one first, then the two small ones ($15 ) to add the fees to EACH . When I'm reality, when I made the small morning purchases they were covered. So I called member services and spoke to Eva , she was not at all helpful and her customer service skills can use a bit of work. Overall I am completely unhappy with this company; they are supposed to be a Nevada based company when they are using slick tactics to get over on their members.

Desired Outcome

I would like the overdraft fee on the two smaller purchases reversed.

SSSCU processes transactions electronically as they are submitted by the merchant to the processor. When researching this account, this member did not have the funds available to cover the transactions on 1/15/2020. This member accrued three fees which were reversed on 1/17/2020 as a courtesy by SSSCU. We do not dictate how and when transactions post to members accounts. This member should check with the merchant she used to find out why they submitted the payments in the order they posted to her account with SSSCU.

Silver State School CU has been collecting interest on a loan I have continually attempted to pay off, continually have created barriers to paying.
On October 21, I was told the amount to pay off my current auto loan with Silver State School CU was $1206.67, and that this payoff quote would be good through the end of October. I sent a check to them that day, and on October 28 they sent this check back because "written and figure amounts do not agree," after they processed an automatic payment, which I assumed would either be cancelled in light of my statement to pay or would factor in the automatic payment I have been making for years. They refused to process payment over the phone, over the internet, and have urged me to once again send payment through the mail. It is dishonest and taking advantage to elongate this loan, all while collecting interest, and they have continually impeded my ability to pay them.

Desired Outcome

I expect to be reimbursed for interest collected while my ability to pay off this loan was artificially impeded by Silver State School Credit Union.

***:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the concerns you recently submitted through the Revdex.com (Revdex.com), dated November 4th, 2019. In your complaint you stated that you have attempted to pay off your vehicle loan with Silver State Schools Credit Union several times but have not been able to do so. You indicated that you sent in the payoff off amount provided to you on 10/21/19 but the payment was returned to you via mail. The return reason you indicated was "written and figure amounts do not agree." After receiving the returned payment, you indicated that you called in and attempted to make a payment by phone and internet but was urged to mail another payment in. Due to this, you are concerned Silver State Schools Credit Union has collected undue interest on your loan due to a delay in your payoff being posted in a timely manner. We have reviewed your concerns and our response is indicated below.

Our records indicate that on 10/21/19 we did receive a phone call requesting a payoff good through 10/31/19. The payoff figure provided was $1,206.67. A check was then received on 10/28/19. Upon receiving the check in our processing center, it was noticed that in the amount field, the amount written was $1,206.67 but the words written on the legal line of the check read, "One thousand six dollars and 67/100 ($1,006.67)." Please refer to the attached copy of the check received to review. Based on this discrepancy, we were unable to process the check as the amounts did not match. On the form sent back to you with your check it indicated a return reason, "Written and figure amounts do not agree."

Silver State Schools Credit Union strives to exceed member expectations and based on this, we will be crediting the difference in interest and placing this amount into your share savings account. Based on the date we initially received your check in the mail (10/28/19) and the date we received the official payoff (11/1/19), we will be crediting a total of $0.89. This equates to four (4) days' worth of interest.

We believe that this response fully addresses the concerns outlined in your Revdex.com complaint. The documentation we relied upon in reaching the conclusions outlined above is enclosed for your reference. If you have any questions concerning this response or require additional assistance, please contact our Member Service Department at ***, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM PST and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM PST.

Sincerely,

This company is making it extremely difficult to payoff my loan using my form of payment, which is a major credit card.
I want all of my car payments to be paid using my credit card. I was also told that there would be no penalty for paying off my loan early. While trying to make my first car payment using there online payment option I was told there would be a fee for paying with a credit card both online and over the phone. I contacted the company and they said I could make a payment if I go into a branch. While at the branch I give them my credit card to make a more then the minimum amount of payment they tell me that they do not take *** as a payment. Now I have to make a payment using there online billing with a fee. Now I want to pay off the rest of my loan. I try using the online billing for the rest of my loan amount. I keep getting told there is a problem with the payment schedule when I try to pay off the rest of my loan. I call my credit card company first and they say it is nothing on their end as far as denying the request to pay. So I call Silver State Schools credit union. I tell them the situation that all I want to do is pay off my loan using my credit card. I try to do the payment online while on the phone with them, they said since its not working they will just take the payment over the phone. Then they say they can only do a small portion of the loan and not the whole thing. I tried talking to the manager and she said the only way to payoff the loan is in the branch, where again they do not take my form of payment which is major credit card company. Now I have to make around 8 different payments of a smaller amount with a fee each time just to payoff my loan. I see this as being penalized for trying to pay off my loan sooner. I am trying to pay the least amount of interest and they are making it extremely difficult for me to do so using my form of payment. I am also getting charged a small fee for every time I have to do this. What company does this kind of thing to its customers?

Desired Outcome

All I want is to pay off my loan using my form of payment and not have to do 8 different transactions with fees every time.

Our financial institution limits payments by credit card to a maximum of $2500.00 to mitigate potential fraud. The balance was larger therefore could not be paid off in full with one transaction. Credit card companies offer customers access checks or balance transfer options which may have been a better way to payoff a larger balance in full as one transaction.
