We received a call from *** *** and he was informed of the process to cancel his service The contract specifically states the terms and conditions We are to receive written notification before the term of the contract We did not receive cancellation until August 18th
not March 14th I then searched and found no email cancelling service I asked *** to forward the email from March 14th he was unable to do that He faxed it to us Our IT person then noticed that the email was not in fact the original that he stated he sent March 14th but a generated and forwarded email from a source other than the original he claims he sent March 14th I informed *** of this and he stated he was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com unless I honored his wishes and released him from the contract It is our obligation to our customers to not terminate service without written notification because of the nature of the service that being a security system What this gets down to is that the customer failed to cancel (written) at the proper time so the contract auto renewed I tried everything in my power to explain this to *** on more than one occasion He chose not to follow the terms of the contract or process We would like nothing more to help *** *** but are unable to do this as proper procedure was not followed and he was well informed prior to the cancellation date We are so willing to work with him on resolving this issue. I am rejecting this response because:Silverline continues to insult me and harass my family.  My name is not [redacted].  I am [redacted] (my wife is [redacted]), as they are well aware.  I sent an email on March 14 and tried to send it today in several ways.  It sits on my sent folder. I sent it through fax and forward it to them, but they insist on calling me a liar, saying I just wrote it today.  Here it is attached. I'm attaching also the August 17 one also (which they admit receiving), where I referenced the email on March 14, before I knew they would be this malicious towards us. I honestly did not for a minute think that this would not be cancelled.  Even if it had to be today, it would be cancelled. But today I see their intent, they want to force poor families to pay for an entire year, even if they provide no service whatsoever.  What an abuse!Forcing me to pay for a year for something I cancelled, during these circumstances, is not only unfair but inhumane. They do not want to "work with me," they insist on playing this gotcha game to force me to pay for the entire year for security on a house that I don't even own, as it is currently on foreclosure. Please help Revdex.com, we sure won't be the last family they will do this to if they get away with it.
