I am writing this letter in response to the complaint you received on Oct regarding customer service at our video rental storeI have talked personally to the customer and this matter has been
resolved however I need to explain the misunderstanding to you so it doesn’t reflect poorly on our businessAt one time there was an item rented by the customer’s sonHe did not return this itemWe did not charge the customer for this item even though it was a loss to usHe requested to put a note on his account to not allow his son to rent, which we didWhen his son turned he opened his own accountWe give our customer’s a membership card with their cr on it but percent of our customer’s do not use themWe look up their accounts by phone numberWhen this customer came in on the date in question he used his phone number to look up his accountUnfortunately we had a new employee who did just thatHowever his son’s account has the same phone numberThe account was his son’s not his that had accumulated late feesAgain this misunderstanding has been resolved

Review: Silverscreen Video, a video and video game rental business, of Clearfield, PA, has fees charged against our account for items that we never rented and/or were rented by someone who is not authorized to utilize our account. We attempted to resolve, and believe we had resolved, this problem to our satisfaction. However, in our recent visit to the store, we were again asked to pay towards these charges and fees that should have never been placed towards our account.Desired Settlement: We simply want the fees and charges dropped in addition to cancelation of our account without any negative connotation regarding the cancelation of the account.

I am writing this letter in response to the complaint you received on Oct 18. 2014 regarding customer service at our video rental store. I have talked personally to the customer and this matter has been resolved however I need to explain the misunderstanding to you so it doesn’t reflect poorly on our business. At one time there was an item rented by the customer’s son. He did not return this item. We did not charge the customer for this item even though it was a loss to us. He requested to put a note on his account to not allow his son to rent, which we did. When his son turned 18 he opened his own account. We give our customer’s a membership card with their cr on it but 90 percent of our customer’s do not use them. We look up their accounts by phone number. When this customer came in on the date in question he used his phone number to look up his account. Unfortunately we had a new employee who did just that. However his son’s account has the same phone number. The account was his son’s not his that had accumulated late fees. Again this misunderstanding has been resolved.
