[redacted] and [redacted] ordered matching diamond bands on the 29th of September Wedding rings from this manufacturer typically arrive in 1-weeks That was unfortunately not the case this timeAfter a few weeks, [redacted] called to check on that status of the rings I had not yet realized that they were overdue This manufacturer had never been late with an item and I had only had positive experiences from them I order from them almost daily When I called to check on that status of the order I was informed that the rings would take a total of weeks Since a few weeks had already past, I felt safe to tell [redacted] that the rings would arrive in 3-weeks Unfortunately, the rings did not arrive in the time frame we were provided [redacted] was understandably upset So was I While they were in my shop I called the manufacturer and they informed me that the rings were being made by an overseas manufacturer and that we were looking at several more weeks They did not have an ETA for methey also informed me that they would not refund me for this order because once it had been ordered with the overseas manufacturer, the order could not be cancelled or refunded I found this very frustrating It was unlikely that someone else would want to purchase the rings, and this put me in a tight spot If I had the financial ability to refund their order at that time, I would have done so, Unfortunately, being a new business owner, my only option was to wait I relayed this information to to [redacted] and ***They were extremely upset and threatened to sue me.I run this business by myselfThe Christmas busy was extremely busy for me I am a mother of three, struggle with a chronic illness and work as hard and as much as I can I take of my family and home, a single handedly run my business I am responsible for all sales, ordering, book keeping and do the majority of repairs myself Despite the long hours I dedicate to my business, and as much as I wish I had the time to check on updates as much as [redacted] desired, I did not I understand she was fearful that I had taken her money and she would not see the rings due to the delay I did everything in my power to let her know that I had no control over what time they would arriveBy calling the manufacturer in her presence, I had hoped that her fears would be alleviated and she would feel reassured that the rings had been ordered, but there was nothing that I could say or do to make her feel at peace It truly was out of my handsEach time I called for an update, it took about an hour of my time I called the manufacturer several times on her behalf, and they were unable to provide me with an update Each time I called it took over an hour of timeI did the best I could to reassure [redacted] with the time that I had available to me, but did not have time to constantly look into this matter, especially during the busy holiday seasonTheir rings eventually arrived, they love them, and they are happy

Their rings eventually arrived, they love them, and they are happy.
