Silverwood Apartments

We have received the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted] although the details are not completely accurate. Ms. [redacted] rented an apartment to transfer on site and gave her notice to move on 6/18. She did not notify the office of her intentions and what apartment that she wanted to move into. She was indeed...

told that her apartment had rented but in no way shape or form would we ever allow any of our residents to be "homeless" She was notified that we did have a unit available but that it still had to be made ready.  She was told that they could come in and sign their lease but that the apartment would not be ready until later that afternoon as this is common practice. She has put in work orders in which I am attaching on 8/1 and 8/10. None of which were emergent issues. If her AC was not working she never stated that other than she would like her Tstat changed. I have attached the work order that she submitted to our office. We have not to date had any emergency after hours calls stating that her air was not working. All of our after hours calls are recorded and emailed. She was advised to bring in her utility bills so that we could see if there was a fluctuation. Ms. [redacted] moved from a 1 BR to our largest 2 BR on the 3rd floor with vaulted ceilings during the summers hottest months. It is normal for her utility bill to reflect this. She was advised that her work orders have been submitted and would be attended to. I spoke with Ms, [redacted] today who finally stated that her air did not work upon which I immediately sent someone over to take a look. He other work orders would be attended to this week as well. Unfortunately we do have to take care of our tickets in the order in which they were received when emergencies are not pulling our guys off of regular tickets. On 8/1 our system showed 62 open tickets that did not include emergency calls. I have advised Ms. [redacted] that we will take care of her issues this week specifically her air today.  As for being released from her lease she would be subject to the termination fees outlined in her lease agreement. A 60 day written notice and 2 months additional rent.
