Simbah's Dog House

Review: I (a retired Military member, who served for over twenty years) took our two dogs, [redacted] and [redacted] to get groomed at Simbahs Dog House. My daughter had convinced me to take them here since she had just been there the day before and had no problems with our other dog. My 11 year old daughter and I arrived at Simbahs Dog House at 1:00. The Owner, [redacted] assisted us. She advised that Madden (a shih-tzu) would need to be shaved down. My daughter asked if [redacted] could leave a little fluff. [redacted] then pointed a finger at my daughter and said in a very RUDE manner, CAN WE COMMUNICATE. DONT TALK. WE ARE TALKING. I am not an aggressive person and dismissed it. I left the dogs and told [redacted] I would be able to come either BEFORE 4:00 or AFTER 4:30. I come by around 4:30 to pick up [redacted] and [redacted]. [redacted] was already extremely agitated and annoyed. She told me to take the leash, pay for the service and leave or she was going to call the police. I was surprised considering I had just gotten there and had every intention of paying! They brought the dogs out and I noticed that Madden was not shaved down as [redacted] had advised earlier. So I mentioned it to her. She FLIPPED! She said YOUR DAUGHTER KEPT INTERRUPTING AND WOULDNT LET ME SPEAK! JUST PAY AND LEAVE OR IM CALLING THE POLICE! I said How does your business stay open with this kind of customer service? I want to speak to the Owner. She said, I DONT GIVE A [redacted]. I AM THE OWNER! PAY OR IM CALLING THE POLICE! I told her I was going to pay, handed her my credit card and she says there is going to be a $2.00 fee for using the credit card (she only charged my daughter $1.00 the day before) I said thats fine and she says, IM GOING TO SHOVE THE $2.00 UP YOURE A**. WHY DONT YOU GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM! At this point the transaction had been completed.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund in the amount of $92.00. $45.00 grooming fee for each dog ($90.00 total) and $2.00 fee for usage of the credit card.

Review: on November 1,2014 I called and made an appointment for my dog [redacted]. I took her in at about 1:50.when I dropped her off just to confirm I asked a young lady what time they closed I explained that I would be taking my daughter to a game in Ramon and asked if picking up [redacted] around 530 was ok. The young lady asked the older woman who was on the phone I didn't hear what the older women said because there was a dog barking very loud but the young lady said it was ok. At about 4:25 I received a call from the business and was told that my dog was ready, I told her ok that I was in Ramona and that I would be there very soon. She interrupted me and said that they closed at 5:00. I wanted to tell her what the young lady said but she interrupted me as she yelled What girl? no girl told you anything! I hung up the phone and drove back to get my dog.(the women yelled at me top of the lungs). We got there at about 5:15 I was upset so I thru the money on the counter, no one was at the counter , so when the older women went to the register she asked for the money and I told her it was on the counter(it was wrinkled up). this really got her mad and she yelled get you dog and get out of here! I told her that she had terrible customer service and that I would contact the owner of the business and yelled go ahead.I told her that her problem was that she was a bitter old hang she turned to me and yelled you are a fken old hag b! She then got on the phone and called the police. she told them that there were 3 Mexican young woman who were threatening her and that she was just an old women. I called the business today and asked for the owner, she took the phone but I recognized her voice because she has a smokers voice. she hung up on me. I called again and the young women answered the phone once the older women realized it was me. she told the girl to hang up or she took the phone from the girl and hung up the phone herself, not sure. their website says they close at 7pm. I worry about the animals thatDesired Settlement: owner needs to know who is representing her business and I worry about the dogs that are left in this woman's care.
