Complaint: 10235848 I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] says I emailed him 37 times. This is absurd. I have a record of how many times I emailed ***. This is proof that he is a liar. I emailed him on 9/24 with my original complaint.... Then I responded to his emails to me on 9/25, 9/26 & 9/27. My last email to him on 9/27 was to tell him that I didn't want to deal with his treats and insults, so I asked him not to contact me again. I am happy to provide proof of all email communication. This business owner is a liar & he is trying to make me the customer seem like a crazy person. I did not send 37 emails times. All I want is for the BBB to record how threatening, unprofessional, and downright scary this business owner is. I have already dealt with the hole in the wall & the scratches he put in our paint. I have yet to be able to fix the furniture he broke. I am afraid of this man, seriously afraid. He is being dishonest. All I am trying to do is report the issue to the BBB so other consumers in the area are aware of his unprofessional manner in dealing with customers and their property. That is all. I am no longer seeking financial reimbursement for the damage because honestly the damage was not that expensive to repair & it was not worth dealing with this crazy man. I do not want any more lies or threats directed at me. I hope other consumers are informed so they don't make the same mistake I did. Thank you. Regards, [redacted]

In Sept I contracted with VBI to install a patio cover In Dec it was installed, though the design was different than contracted; an agreement that was not documented between my husband and their representative weeks after final installation and payment, I contacted them stating there was an issue After several attempts to fix it, there was still an issue It then took another almost months to get the issue resolved Upon posting truthful reviews of my experience, I was called & "threatened" with a lawsuit stating that I signed documentation I would not put anything "bad" on social media Upon request of said documents (that I am entitled to those copies anyway), the retaliation I experienced was the business owner taking to public forum inferring that my PRIVATE life was angry hence I then "INSISTED" they replace the incorrect cover with a new oneHe also stated that I WAITED months and made "an angry call" when in reality, I have ALL email documentation reflecting that weeks AFTER the installation, a CHEERY email was sent to their admin The owner chose to SLANDER me in public instead of taking to the offensive "Yes, we took too long to resolve this but it's done and the account is closed"

Review: My husband and I had just bought our first home together, we closed on 9/15/14. I booked my first carpet cleaning with Simi Valley Carpet Cleaning for Friday 9/19/14. I spoke with Brett who claimed to be the owner. He came and met my husband at our brand new home on 9/19/14 at 2pm to be let in to start the work on 3 rooms. The master bedroom had recently been repainted with 2 different colors, crown moulding, and chair molding in the middle. All the furniture was out of the house except for one heavy dresser. Brett tried to move the dresser, scratched paint off the brand new moulding, and then put a gigantic hole in the wall. When my husband went to check his work, he told him not to walk on the carpets. We had not yet installed a light in the bedroom, so he couldnt see this. I saw it the very next day in the daylight. I called Brett right away at he argued with me saying he wasnt told not to move the furniture (but all the furniture was moved except this one piece) & he would not admit to putting the hole in the wall, but he did admit to attempting to take apart our dresser, which he admitted he also broke and now we dont have the mirror mounted. I am furious. I told Bret he would never get our business again, but I just cant sit with the fact that we invested $270 to get carpets cleaned & we had just paid a ton of money for the paint job, and he ruined not only the paint, he actually put a huge hole in the drywall, and ruined our mirrored dresser.Desired Settlement: I want a refund or at least the funds we will need so we can get the hole in the wall repaired, the paint repaired, and the dresser. He knows he scratched the paint and put a hole in the wall. I want a professional response. I would like at least some sort of refund so we can repair the damage to our walls that Bret put in our master bedroom.
