Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: The response from Simi Valley Chevrolet is a factually inaccur*** picture of the events which took place.
Firstly, I was not informed upon purchase of the vehicle that the cd player was not workingWe had a different conversation about how they had verbally agreed to install bluetooth on the car when the deposit was given by my uncle T*** ***They reneged on that verbal agreement when I came to purchase the vehicle as they did not install bluetooth and refused to at that timeAs they had picked me up to come purchase the vehicle and I had no other way home, I agreed to purchase it in spite of this lackHowever, regarding the cd player, I had no idea there was a cd stuck in itIt was not until the Saturday following the purchase that I attempted to play a CD and discovered there was a cd stuck in itI called the dealership that day and spoke to Jerry, who sold me the carHe told me that I could bring it in and they would fix it, but that no one was there that day.
Second, I never returned in person to the dealership, all communication was done by telephone and emailAfter not being able to get ahold of Jerry again, I called K*** ***, the Sales Manager, who I asked that, in light of the lack of bluetooth and the broken cd player, if I purchased my own bluetooth car stereo would they install itHe iintially told me that they would install it for me if I purchased the stereo myself and when I asked for details about the installation such as how they would make the radio fit if it were a different size than the one currently installed, he told me that Best Buy would do it for freeAs I had already researched this, I informed him that Best Buy would charge me several hundred dollars to install it, upon which he said he would need to talk to the General Manager to discuss it and get back to me a few days l***rWhen he did not, I called and left about four messages before I got him on the phoneHe told me at that time that the dealership would neither install a radio for me nor fix the broken cd playerFollowing this, I sent several emails to the GM, *** ***, which were not responded to.
I have the emails and call logs regarding the d***s of these conversations if need be.
My request as originally st***d in my Revdex.com complaint remains that Simi Valley Chevrolet get the cd player into good working orderIt may simply require the removal of the stuck cd.
Regards,
K*** ***

I had a bad experience with Chevy when told I was approved for a loan and when coming in was told I was indeed not. I was promised my credit was approved and told to come in that day to get complete. Bait and switch. I see many others with the same experience on Yelp and Revdex.com needs to be aware of their flagrant tricks that are only going to catch up with them.

This letter serves as st[redacted]ment of facts concerning K[redacted] and their 2011 Toyota...

Rav4.
K[redacted] purchased a 2011 Rav4 from Simi Valley Chevrolet on 11/2/2015. As we encourage all our customers that purchase a pre- owned vehicle, K[redacted] was offered to purchase a warranty because it is a used vehicle and the only warranty that comes with the car is a 3 month 3 thousand mile powertrain warranty. She was also informed due to the price of the vehicle the CD player was not working and the final sale is “AS IS". K[redacted] declined to purchase a warranty that was offered at the time of sale. -
About a week l[redacted]r, K[redacted] returned to the Dealership because her CD was not working. She wanted Simi Valley Chevrolet to repair the radio. K[redacted] was reminded when she purchased the vehicle, the CD player was not working and because of the sale price we were not going to repair the CD player. She was also reminded if she purchased the warranty she would not be out of pocket for the repairs. She then asked if she purchased another radio if we would install it at no charge which we agreed to.
We will still honor our commitment, if K[redacted] purchases another radio, we will install it at no.

Review: I bought a certified car at Chevrolet of simi valley, and the salesman told me, that I need to buy a certified preowner car because the bank won't approve the credit, so I found one car that I liked but with some repairs issues, but he told me that the dealer will repair all of them because end of the day is a something that they call safety and they can not sale a car in that condition and he will order all the safety parts that the car need to have the car ready, because if not the santander bank won't approve the credit, we agreed and we closed the deal that night very late and I drove the car home but the next day I realized that none car issues were repaired, I took the car back to the dealer I spoke to the salesman and they don't want to repair it, in the top of that the general manager told that if I want to repair the car I should pay for it, because I didn't buy a certified car, I just bought a simple used car.Desired Settlement: To repair all the car safety issues.

Review: In the month March I purchased a 2006 Corvette. It is now August 14, 2006 and the dealer has yet to complete the paper work with the DMV. I have been to the dealer 4 different times and always being told to speak to someone. This someone is always someone different. I spoke to someone that said he was the general manager and he told me that it is a glitch in the DMV computer that is holding up my paper work. He promised to call me back when it was fixed. Apparently the DMV can't figure out what the problem is because after talking to the general manager 2 months ago he still hasn't call. I went back on Tuesday August 12, and was sent to Simi Valley Jeep Dealer to speak to D[redacted], the DMV person. She said she is aware of the problem and is waiting for a phone call from the DMV to see when the paper work is completed. I have receive a letter from the DMV telling me that if that paper work is not completed soon that the car can be impounded if left on the street. The car was a birthday present for my wife and now she is afraid to take the car out of the garage because she does not want it towed. can you please help me thank youDesired Settlement: I ordered personalized plates for that car. Now it has been over 90 days that the personalize plates can't be issued for the corvette they will be sent back. I just want someone to do something and have the dealer quit giving me the run around. We have made 5 trips to the DMV and they say it is the dealer not completing the paper work not the DMV.

Review: Purchased a Nissan Leaf that was supposed to have a fastcharge port. Should also come with Nissan trickle charging cable unit and two sets of keys. When vehicle arrived it had no fastcharge port. Also the cable charger was missing and one of the keys was missing. When I contacted the dealership about the issues they hang up the phone. When I called again suddenly none of the sales people I had been dealing with were there.Desired Settlement: I wish for refund of a part of the purchase amount as compensation. The cost for the missing items is $5000. I will accept a refund for this amount as settlement.
