My refund was received. Please close this case.
Review: To assist with my home glass selection, Simmons Glass elected to obtain various samples of laminated glass options to view at their showroom. On August 21, 2014, I paid a refundable $100 security deposit, so I may take these samples home to evaluate them, with no time limit, in my own lighting environment. The last two samples were returned to their showroom on December 20, 2014.
Simmons Glass has not responded to my email and registered letter requesting my $100 security deposit refund. I expect this childish behavior is due to our business relationship turning sour, because they mistakenly ordered a window configuration, that I did not approve and was without a signed contract.
To resolve this complaint I require a check refund of my $100 security deposit, as initially agreed.
Should Simmons Glass not comply, I will e-file the necessary documents to initiate a claim in Orange County Superior Court – Small Claims Division. Their lack of response in my resolution attempts will not be viewed favorably. I will also share my experience online at [redacted], [redacted]+, and [redacted].Desired Settlement: To resolve this complaint I require a check refund of my $100 security deposit, as initially agreed.
