Review: I entered into a contract for Dennie Simms to drill a new well for our house, on Dec 12, 2014. I gave him the $1000 deposit he asked for, and was told he would start within the next day or two, because the other jobs he had could wait as they were new construction, and the ground was too muddy. We also had no water so we were a priority. Three days went by, nothing happened, so I called Mr Simms..he said thathis CDL driver was sick and could not get out to us. I stated that we have no water, there are 6 people living here as well as our animals. He said nothing he could do, but would get his truck to us by Sunday if he had to have it towed out to us. Sunday came & went, no truck..tried to call him, he would not answer my calls. Had my husband call him from his cell phone,,picked right up..we gave him 2 more days, and still nothing. Finally on Dec 23rd , we fired him, asking for our deposit back. He said he did not have it..we gave him until January 9th to get our money back to us , or we are taking him to court. I stated all of this in a certified letter to Mr Simms, also.The company came recommended to us, but we will not recommend them to anyone. We were left over Christmas without any water...do not do business with this companyDesired Settlement: We would like our $1000 deposit back

I became ill after I received your deposit. I had already purchased materials but I will mail your $1,000 refund check as soon as I can use the materials, hopefully within the next two weeks.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be somewhat satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. However, if I do not receive my refund of $1000 by January 23, 2015, I will be taking this matter to court. I have given the business the benefit of the doubt for almost a month now, and feel that my money should be returned to me as soon as possible. I gave the business multiple chances to do right by us, and just had more excuses each time.

Review: Mr. Simms dug our well and several months later installed the pump. For the last five months almost, we have been having issues with our water cutting on and off. I have called multiple times and left several messages. Mr. Simms will not come and fix our issue as guaranteed by the warranty he gave us. He keeps telling us he is coming this day or this day and never shows up or calls us back.Desired Settlement: He needs to come and completely fix our well. If not we will see him in court. If it should come to that.
