We are a tenant of the Dover Mall, Dover, DE. This is a Simon Malls property. We have a Hair Salon in the Mall. Our complaint has to do with our March lease payment. We were shut down on March 16th. We paid our full March lease payment. But due to being shut down half way through the month, are we not due half of our payment back, or it to be credited towards future lease payments? We asked Simon Malls and the response was No. Yet for the last 5 years we have consistently made our Monthly Lease Payments, but this past March the Mall was shut down by order of the Governor because of the Covid-19 crisis. The mall was allowed to reopen June 1st but with strict limitations. So we asked about the 15 days that we were forced out of the Mall and unable to work.

Billing Adjustment We asked if because we were forced out of the Mall, at no fault of their own, we receive credit on any future leas payments. We were told NO.
