We have reached out to customer to understand the basis in which his complaint comes from When we pull this vehicle's options up through Chrysler there is no mention of a rear window defroster This vehicle was purchased Used and sold to the customer used so we are unaware of any back glass replacement that may have been made If he is referencing a Chrysler CPOV (Certified Preowned Vehicle) Checklist it is a generic form and every vehicle will have (and not have) options that appear on the CPOV checklist Simply put, we need more information in order to make an educated decision if we are in fact responsible for installing a rear glass in this Preowned Truck I'm being told that the customer was more concerned with leveraging his situation with judicial proceedings than he was allowing us to understand why we owe him a back glass that has rear defrost that may or may not have even been on this vehicle when the vehicle was built

The Ram 1500/2500/owners manual pg clearly depicts the manual climate controls and references the far left control (of the three controls) as "Push Rear Window Defroster Button"As stated by the dealership the Chrysler CPOV (Certified Pre-owned Vehicle) checklist is a generic form that does list features that are equipped on my vehicle as well as features that are not equipped on the vehicleHowever the Rear window defrost box (item 42) is checked as "Meets Chrysler Standards" whereas features that my vehicle does not include such as a convertible top (Item 44)are NOT checked under the "Meets Chrysler Standards"Additionally I would like to state that I am not attempting to "leverage my situation with a judicial proceeding" which should be evident as I am trying to resolve this situation without litigation with the help of the Revdex.comI am willing to present any information I can to bring this matter to a positive resolution I have attached a picture of my climate control center, the page of the owners manual I referenced above, pictures of the CPOV checklist which shows Items that are checked and unchecked, and finally I the picture of the CPOV check list that was signed by an Assistant manager of 3/21/14. Please note that in no way am I waiving my right to take this situation through litigation should the dealership and I not be able to reach an agreeable resolution

There is nothing on the vehicle build sheet that states this vehicle comes equipped with a rear defroster If you notice your manual is not specific to your vehicle Like the CPOV checklist, it is a generic user manual for Dodge Rams This vehicle, like Chrysler corporate told you yesterday was never equipped with rear defroster, even when it was sold as a brand new vehicle
