Review: I bought a prepaid SIM card for $29.99 plus tax. Sales staff also informed me I have to put a deposit of $349.99 to guarantee that we will not run out of data should we need . He assured me this will be fully refunded if I do not use the data. However up to now, they have not refunded the $349.99 .Desired Settlement: Refund within 20 days

Review: I went to this store and said that I will be in NY for only few days and that I need pre paid SIM card. They offered me one for 20 dollars. The sales person said that my credit card will be authorized for 200 dollars but this money won't be charged unless I will confrim that I would like to go over a limit on my SIM. The sales person said that I will get a text message asking if I'd like to use more data and only if I reply yes I will get charged.

The store simply went ahead and charged me both 20 and 200 dollars on the same day. My work colleauge was with me the entire time and wintessed the entire conversation.

I called Simple Mobile, the rep wasn't of any help so I asked to be transfered to supervisor. Supervisor promised that I will get a refund and that I won't need to repeat the entire story to the refund dept. He transferred me to refund department. The refund dept refused to do a refund coming up with different excuses every time I called them. Terrible customer service, lies upon lies. It seems that the entire company built on lies. When we at the store a couple came to complain about very high charges which they not authorized, I wish it stopped us.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get a refund on my credit card immedeately

Review: Here is the issue: SImple Mobile sells international calling card and they do not specify to consumers which calling card calls what location (ie special calling card will call to Mexico, Europe, Africa or Asia). One cannot use a calling card that is for Asia to call Africa and vice versa. This specification is not advertise, instead the company labels all calling cards international calling card. Simple mobile agent told me that I could buy phone time to call Monrovia, Liberia by calling ###-###-#### OR I can buy directly from any of their agent (LJ Connection LLC)

I bought a $20 phone time to call Monrovia, Liberia but the agent mistakenly give me the calling card for Mexico. I call Simple Mobile directly (###-###-####) and they told me they could not refund my money instead I should go directly to the agent. Keep in mind, when the agent confirm my purchase a text message confirmation register on my phone so Simple mobile is connected to [redacted]. I drove to the merchant and inform them that the calling card they provided me will not allow me to make calls to Monrovia, Liberia and that they should refund my money. The lady in the store called Simple Mobile and after they talk for 10 minutes, she concluded that LJ connection cannot refund my money.

I am not going to allow SImple Mobile to abscond with my money! the $20 credit remains unused since I cannot use it to call the country I want, I need simple Mobile to refund my money back to my credit card! If they refuse I am willing and ready to take them to civil court for $20! It is my hard earn money which I work for and they do not have the service I want so I want my money back. I have the receipt from LJ Connection and the text message from simple mobile to proof it.Desired Settlement: Credit back the $20 to my credit card

Review: Good evening, my name is [redacted] and I'm from [redacted].Same as many tourists I was cheated by " Simple Mobile Phone" store in [redacted].On Dec ** th I went into the store to buy two sim cards valued 10 dollars each ( 21,78 with tax) .Three days later I returned to [redacted] and I realized I was charged 1088 usd I did not authorized.I called VISA and then discovered they made me sign a coupon for that value. There were 2 boys there, talking all the time and trying to distract me. In fact they did it. I read on the internet I was not the only one. It is a shame.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want the store to refund the non authorized amount of usd 1088.
