Review: I provide audio/video system design and installation services in NY. I was attending CEDIA Exhibition in September of 2013 (September 26-28, 2013). Tim G. Ryan owner of SIMPLIFI AUDIO was one of the exhibitors displaying the products he sells. During the exhibition I stopped by to see what he has to offer. He was heavily promoting product called "DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core". Retail value: $1200 Dealer cost: $700. Considering I was in the business he sold me two units 700$ each,1400$ total for the two units.By purchasing two units I automatically became a dealer, that was the main criteria needed to become a dealer, making a purchase. Keep notice: 1.I was not required to fill out tax exempt forms. 2.I was not presented with any dealer application. 3.I did not sign any documents at all to become a dealer to sell his product. THE ONLY THING I DID WAS pay 1400$ via PAYPAL service directly to him THATS IT, absolutely nothing else. I was promised to receive my units as soon as the next shipment came in. After a few months of asking about the shipment I was finally sent ONE out of the TWO units. After promises I never received 2nd unit.First week of April 2014 he heavily started promoting "an upgrade for the units that I purchased" After several phone calls and endless emails stating that I must spend 250$ for the upgrade part in order to stay a dealer I did purchase it although he has not even fulfilled his original order for over 7 months. Later in april I requested a refund for 250$ which was honored. At that time I requested a refund for the 2nd unit.(more than 8 months after I paid for the units) I was told by Tim G. Ryan that a refund will terminate my relationship as a dealer, I AGREED RIGHT AWAY(5.14.2014). I sent over 8 emails requesting my refund, didn't not receive a response nor a refund. Summary: Two units were purchased 1400$, one unit delivered two months later, 2nd unit never delivered. Seller, TIM G. RYAN from SIMPLIFI AUDIO refuses to issue a refund 9 months later.Desired Settlement: 700$ refund for the item that was not delivered in over 9 months after a purchase date.
