When people call other people names or insult them, frequently, they are projecting their own behavior on the one they malignAs I explained in the original complaint against *** *** and his company, Simplified Computers (SC), I never said I bought the LCD cable from AsusAs I told Mr***, Asus directed me to a reseller they recommended, so I could buy the new Asus LCD cable I provided for Simplified ComputersI did not lieI do not appreciate being called a liar by Mr*** *** either intentionally or unintentionally misconstrued what I said to him in front of a witness and in emails between him and meThese are included in the original complaint
From the beginning of my transaction with Mr***, he has insulted Asus, my laptop and meFor example, he said among other things that "Asus is a terrible company, which designs computers to fail right after the warrantee is up," and he repeatedly called my Asus laptop "a piece of junk." I had carefully researched my Asus laptop, before I bought it, and I was extremely pleased with itUntil it entered SC, It had no problems at all, aside from needing a replacement LCD cable
During a meeting with Mr***, a locally well-known person, who accompanied me, and me, Mr*** came up with every way in the book to show what happened to my computer in his shop was not Simplified Computers' faultHe even produced a worn power cord with exposed wires he said was mineHe said the power cord could have caused the motherboard to short outBut, it was not my power cord i.ethe one I brought in with my computerBecause I kept my laptop plugged in, the power supply cord looked new with no damage whatsoeverIf, in fact, *** *** or his technician used this damaged power supply cord to plug in my computer, it could be the cause of the short to the motherboard
At the end of the meeting, Mr*** turned to the person, who was with me, and asked her what she thoughtShe said that the laptop was working perfectly except for the LCD cable, when it entered Simplified Computers." Something happened in your shop to damage it, so I think you should be responsible for fixing it at your cost." Mr*** then agreed and said he would fix it at his costAt the same time, he agreed in front of the locally well-known person, to use NEW partsWe had previously discussed how installing used parts could introduce more problems
When I asked Mr*** for copies of the invoices/receipts for the parts his company installed in my computer, he flatly refused numerous timesI am concerned SC has not installed the NEW parts Mr*** agreed to install in front of a witness
All I am asking *** *** to do is to provide copies of invoices/receipts for the parts his company installed in my laptop proving the parts are NEW, not usedI have been without my laptop, since Aug.4, when I took it into Simplified Computers for a simple repairMy, then slightly more than a year old, computer was in excellent working condition (except for LCD cable that needed to be replaced), when I took it to Simplified ComputersIn fact, I used it for an hour immediately prior to taking it to them
Hopefully, Mr *** will do the right and honorable thing i.eprovide me with copies of the invoices/receipts for parts Simplified Computers installed in my laptopI know that he values his reputation as a good man, so producing said copies would be a step in the right direcetion
