I recently purchased jewelry supplies from Simply Beadiful. Upon returning home I became aware that some of the aforementioned purchased supplies were not necessary for my projects. I promptly went to the store the next day with the merchandise and my receipt and was informed they did not accept returns except for store credit. Unless you happen to notice the small sign on the register or are told during your purchase that this was their policy you would be blissfully unaware as I was. Never again will I make a purchase from this store. By not explaining their return process adequately I believe the act of not returning my merchandise constituted shady and deceptive business practices. As a young attorney and patron of small business I am appalled at the lack of customer service from this store and will be sure to share this with family and friends. For future customers this policy should be made more visible or explained upon check out.Product_Or_Service: BeadsDesired SettlementPreferably I would like to be able to return the merchandise. Business' Initial Response The full return policy is posted right at my register counter since I opened my store in May 2008. This individual sent a young man to return the items (she was not here as stated above) and I explained the store credit return policy to him. He proceeded to text the individual about my explanation and then said OK, I will keep the items and left my store. I never heard from either one of them again until I received your notice. The individual has made purchases here prior to this.
