Appears this company is not changing their tacticsA pushy salesperson showed up at my door in Leduc, AB @ 7:30pm with some officious claim that he needed to do a home inspectionAfter waving his Simply Green id card like he was some sort of official representative of water and air quality, I sent him packingHe seemed offended that he wasn't invited in with open arms like he was some sort of saviorPerhaps this company should consider that all people are not gullible foolsI never enjoy this unsolicited visits and this one was no exception

I'll admit it: after years of warranties, my outlook is a little jadedThey do cover a lot, but it's usually stuff that has a chance of somewhere between slim and none when it comes to going badMost of my life, I considered warranties to be nothing other than a nuisance and a waste of good paper. When I got a new heating system from Simply Green and they trotted out the warranty, I had to eat my wordsThey really do offer protections that customers could possibly needWhile I haven't had any issues with my heater yet, I know that they will do right by meI recommend them to all my friends now, even their warranty plans

On July 19, at 2pm on [redacted] Stin Winnipeg, MB a simply green door to door salesman rang our doorbell I saw he was a sales rep and immediately told him "not interested" Instead of leaving he asked me if my furnace was high efficiency I told him yes, and that I wasn't interested in anything in an attempt to get him to leave He responded to that asking if my A/C was high efficiency I mistakenly told him no He took a step toward the house to come in and said it'd only take a minute to look at it(A/c is located outside) I, a third time, told him NOT INTERESTED He said okay, flipped over the binder he was holding, flashed some pamphlet with a gov't of Canada logo that said water testing and told me he "had" to come in and test my water I confirmed, you HAVE to" and he said yes I asked him, so you work for the city of Winnipeg? He said no a private company I said and the city of Winnipeg says you have to test my water to which he said it'll only take a minute, and started taking his shoes off to come inside I said no, not interested, and If its mandated you HAVE to come in then come back with the police I locked up the house and found him a couple doors down I asked him for a business card which he refused to give me I asked him for a phone number for the company he works for, which he refused to give me saying they don't normally give that out I asked him, " You want in my private residence but you refuse to give me a phone number for your company?" He still refused I went back into my house and called the police They said simply green is a legit company but they've had other complaints about them [redacted] Not someone I want to take my business too that's for sure!

I'm writing to inform you of my recent experience with Simply Green Home ServicesMy hot water heater needed replacement and I was very impressed with the quality of service that this company provided Everyone that I dealt with - sales, installers, after-sales support - were very knowledgable & professionalMy hot water heater was replaced quickly and with minimal disruption to my home
My furnace is nearing its end of life and I I'll definitely be contacting Simply Green a Home Services when it's time to replace

My wife and ai bought new furnace and AC from a company in That company got bought out by *** *** That's when our problems beganThe coil of our air conditioner leaked *** a energy try used to honor their guarantee we were prepared to never have an AC system that worked*** *** and his team came through our area I allowed him to see our systemHe is well trained and informed in this areaHe informed us that because our system was so new we qualified for a replacement under a programWe made an appointment to install a state of the art air conditionerHis team came and installed it minutesNow we have ac that works

A Simply Green representative came to my house and explained their servicesAt first I was skeptical because he was a "salesman"However, he knew his products well and did not push me into anythingThey will be installing a new Furnace in our house tomorrow, becausethe Simply Green representative was able to answer all of my questions and was throughout about the processClear expectations and transparent information made this choice easyNot to mention, that is one of the shortest contracts I have seen in year, its VERY to the point, good on them
After reading many negative reviews (just doing my homework) I would say the biggest issue is communicationMy recommendation, ask a lot of questionsHere are some that I asked and was given very clear answers to
-How do you make a profit?
-How do I cancel the contract?
-Specs on the Furnace and area it will heat?
-How long they have been in business?
-Monthly Rate I will be charged? Can they raise the rates?
-Service hours? What is covered?
-Is there an annual inspection?
-How much to buy out the unit? How long renting would amount to that cost?
-What happens when I sell my house? Who is responsible for the unit?
-Do I get a new thermostat?
I asked a ton of question and I am confident in there serviceI will follow these comments up after the furnace gets installed

Came in and installed a furnaceEverything was very professional and I'm very happy with our new equipment!

Hi not sure what to think , seems like a they are all over the board with sales reps , failed to install new furnace , and also have not been up front with total cost and rebates , I have put them on hold ,after receiving a call from over sea to reschedule the installation date , I am being to think this a *** just to get there hands on the rebate funds , that seem to have applied for on my behalf .they say they have great reviews but don't see anything on here

A few weeks ago, I had a problem with my hot water tank venting. I called Simply Green and a technician came the next day. He took a look and then properly explained the situation. I was very impressed with his patience and knowledge!!
I contacted Simply Green again after to figure out what the best way to deal with the problem was and got a few options from them. Again, very friendly on the phone and helpful! Very pleased overall

I recently signed-up with Simply Green because my wife and I moved into a new house and needed to replace a really old furnance. We're on an $80/month plan and were able to get 6-months free, so it was a great deal. I was reluctant about the buy-out rate, but do appreciate the long-term support Simply Green will provide.

I'll admit it: after years of warranties, my outlook is a little jaded. They do cover a lot, but it's usually stuff that has a chance of somewhere between slim and none when it comes to going bad. Most of my life, I considered warranties to be nothing other than a nuisance and a waste of good paper. 

When I got a new heating system from Simply Green and they trotted out the warranty, I had to eat my words. They really do offer protections that customers could possibly need. While I haven't had any issues with my heater yet, I know that they will do right by me. I recommend them to all my friends now, even their warranty plans.

Had a great experience with the Simply Green team. They installed a furnace and air purifier in my home and the quality of air has improved dramatically.
