The customer came in off of an internet advertised priceThe tried to negotiate the price down and didn't want to finance any more than $15,The agree price was only good for that dayThe customer agreed to come back the following Monday with the additional moniesOn Monday, the customer
called again asking for a lower price and wanting us to change the tires and repair scratches on the vehicleWe could not agree to the lower price as it would have resulted in a drastic cost to us as the dealer. The vehicle remains here at this time and still available for sale at the advertised priceWe are happy to sell to the customer as stated above

[redacted] was made aware that the manufacturer does not offer BlueLink / Bluetooth on the Hyundai Elantra ECO model that he had purchased from our store. We offered [redacted] the opportunity to purchase the limited model, which not only comes equipped with the BlueLink/ Bluetooth feature; but it also has several other options. The difference in price between the two vehicles is approximately $5000 - of which City World Hyundai offered to pay $2500. When offered this deal, [redacted] declined to absorb any of the cost. We have issued a $200 refund to [redacted]'s credit card as requested and have email a copy of the refund to her.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by City World Hyundai regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

In specifying that I wanted a bluelink equipped vehicle as I was originally under the impression my car...

had that feature, the general manager took that as an opportunity to rip me off some more. His sales associate texted me that he wanted to see me, when I talked to the general manager, his words exactly were " I dont need to help you, but im going to". His idea of helping me was taking my car that I just finished leasing a lil over a month ago as a trade in, then applying that to the more expensive version of my car that is actually equipped with the feature bluelink. They wanted me to pay more than I already was and it was their mistake to begin with (unbelievable) I walked out of the dealership and am now exploring my legal alternatives, simply put, going to city world hyundai was the single worst retail experience of my life. The general manager is pure human trash, it was a waste of my time to go there, I took the day off from work and everything. I really dont know what more to say. They were horrible beyond belief, I just wish I had recorded the general manager so the world could know exactly what they are dealing with when stepping foot into that business.

We addressed the customer's concerns and on Tuesday, May [redacted], traded the customer out of the Ford Fusion and placed them into a new Hyundai Santa Fe. The customer is now satisfied with both the purchase and vehicle.

[redacted] Thank you so much for contacting us to find a resolution to this matter as we want nothing more than to satisfy the needs of this and every client. In the case of [redacted]...

[redacted], we were working diligently to find him a vehicle that would fit his budget as well as the banks parameters. To our great surprise, [redacted] was not interested in any of the choices we presented him with. Shortly thereafter, a refund request was processed and [redacted] received a refund on August **, 2016. Should you have any further questions and/or require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at: ###-###-####. Respectfully, Macky D[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseCity World Hyundai responded with a reply to the Revdex.com not consistent at all with what transpired.Even though we came in off of an Internet advertised price what does that have to do with the way you handle a sale of a vehicle. You must still be ethical and truthful. They claim we tried to negotiate the price down from the advertised price. I was told prior to my traveling over 50 miles to the Dealership, ove the phone when I called, that there is always room to negotiate but it might possibe not be a lot but there was room. This was the only reason we took the trip to the Bronx. I had no idea there was something not right about trying to negotiate the price. Especially when no one sad it was firm! So in fact they did bring the price down and then came back with some added on fees I assume to make up for the difference they had come down in the price. That was around $800 or so.Weflat out refused that deal and they took off those "fees" and went back to the negotiated price. We then agreed on that price. At that point they asked for the $2000 down payment to do the deal. I was going to put down $2000 but did not have it with me. They then offered me this credit card through Toyota I was told to use for the down payment should I be approved. We would be able to do the deal that day and not have to come back as I was already approved by [redacted] Bank on my own doing at a good rate. Tjey then put through my credot fr this Toyota card which was not approved. I was very suprised to say the least but moved on. Yesterday the 20th of Sept. I et a letter in the mail from Comenity Capital bank aka Toyota Rewards Visa why I was rejected. High risk due to ack of credit bureau date and Low level of authentication  indicative of fraud. I was nt told any of this at the Dealer but maybe they did not know. OK given that it appears they submitted this application for the $2000 rewards visa with my wrong first name and my correct social security number as was evidenced on the letter I received from Comenity Bank. So now I have this on my Credit report which I will have to deal with and reduces my FICO score. So they tell me this deal is only good for that day but of the vehicle was still there on Monday, I was there Saturday, we could do the deal and I would bring the down payment and purchase the vehicle. Monday comes and I call my Lender, [redacted] after speaking to the Finance person at the Dealer, and going over the numbers with the Dealer, they had added on $2500 to the price for Warranty & Gap which I never approved. Finance told me you dont have to call your Bank I tool care of everything. Had I not called I would not have known bout the $2500.I called them and the made not big deal about this mistake and took it off. I then called the Bank and they said it was off. So the still have the vehicle and only because of their activity and putting that $2500 charge on their which took all f that Monday to correct I could not pick up the vehicle that Monday. The financing would not have been correct. Their fault. So I now tell them once again I will be there that Tuesday.Tuesday Morning I call the Bank again, you can verify all my calls with them,   to go over the numbers so I can move forward and obtain my Insurance on to find out they added $300 to price of the vehicle over the corrected price of the day before. I immediately called the Dealer and when I approached him, finance person, he told me they SOLD the vehicle the night before. I said why would you do that of you had a deal with me unless you got a better offer He said I gad no downpayment there and that was policy. OK, given that I did not come back because you kept changing the numbers how is that my fault? In addition they said I asked for tires and body repairs. I never asked for any body repairs, I asked for one left rear tire as it was needed and told them how can you put an inspection sticker on the vehicle with that tire. The salesperson Wally agreed. I also asked them for mats for the car as there were none. Not a dealer breaker but the salesperson agreed. They only agreed to the agreed upon lower price of the vehicle when they thought they could make it up with other fees and add ons. when that did not happen they did not want to take a loss I believe so they told me the vehicle was sold. As you see it was not.I have since purchased a vehicle elsewhere. This whole process has been a nightmare for me. What kind of business practice is this. Why did the feel they could take advantage of me this way.
