Hello I have attached a screen shot of what the fine print looks like in my Groupon Deal and also a Screen shot of my entire conversation with the client He called me after he realized the Groupon was valid for women onlyI feel like I did every thing I possibly could have to make him
happyI contacted Groupon on his behalf to try to get him the refund but Groupon refused because it clearly states in the fine print the Groupon is valid for women only so therefore it is not their faultI understood his frustration so I offered him a refund on the portion I got paid from Groupon to help compensate him for his lossI did not make any profit off of his saleIt was an error on his end that he did not read the fine print before purchasing the GrouponI don't believe my company or Groupon is at fault for his misunderstandingI was polite to him and personally refunded him which I did not have to doHere is the link to my advertisement on Groupon if you'd like to look at it***I also have it clearly stated on my website under the online booking section, I am not sure what else he expects from meI feel like he needs to take responsibility for his part in not reading the fine print so there for he should be happy with the 50% refund I gave him If you need any other information from me please let me know. *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:The business mindset of "refunded him which I did not have to do" is a problemWhen the business owner credited the voucher, of course, she has to return the share because the customer (me) did not use the couponI do not agree completely that the business owner did not make a profit from this transactionFor instance, the number of sales for her item increased on Groupon which helps her business to attaract new customers, as Groupon provides the number of purchased coupons which usually should be correlated with the success of a bussinessI see quite a lot of businesses built for fishing by providing vague or not straightforward information about their business or servicesThat mindset provides them the chance to make some money or in the worst case scenario increase their number of sales and refund completely or a portion of the sale if requested by the customer, but attract more customers and repeat the gameI require these sets of advertisements to be controlled and modifiedThe business needs to be based on integrity and fairnessI still do not understand why the business owner never contacted the Groupon to correct for the advertisement before my transaction and make it crystal clear that the deal is for women onlyIf there were people made the same mistakes as the owner is aware of, it shows that there is something wrong with the ad and not with those people.
Regards,
