Class on February XX XXXX, February 29, 2015, and March 1, I feel this is all a misunderstanding on ***'s part because on the first day of class, we go over what is known as the FAQ'sOn this sheet, FAQ's which stand for frequently asked questionsOne of the questions addressed, that once the Nurse's License number information shows up on the board's website, then and only then can the IV License be updated to the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric TechniciansOnce we send out this information, it then takes anywhere from to weeks for the IV License to be processedUnfortunately ***'s Nurses license number did not show up on the Board of Vocational Nurses until JulyWhich cause a delay in her getting her Certification IV licenseThe cause of the delay was not my company's fault
When ***, called the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians the person she talked to of did not have her information on fileHowever that does not mean My Company failed to complete her documents on time or in timely mannerMy staff and I can only process documents if the Nurses license number is posted on Board of Vocational Nurses***'s IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal documents where filed in a timely manner and it was listed on the Board's website in the month of AugustIn addition, you have to keep in mind that dealing with a large busy company; my staff and I handle multiple tasks and nurses and we do are best to accommodate to all the Nurses wants and needsAlso On the last day of class, *** received a completion letter and a completion certificateThis certificate is good for all employers to view to show that the IV course was complete and she was certified
In conclusion *** called the business office on several occasions yelling at staff in the office in regards to the certificationMy staff did their very best to express the steps that needed to take place in order for the Certification to take place and did their best to accommodate to her needsYet *** was not happy with the steps that where being taken and it was expressed again that the steps being taking where policy and procedure***'s argued continuously with my Administration assistantThe yelling and threating accusations made staff feel very uncomfortable and unsafeWhich has led me to protect my staff from her, therefore I am requesting that she makes no contact with my company and to not use my name or my business name in slander otherwise legal actions will be takenThis situation could have been handled differently if she was able to handle this situation with more patients, kindness and been more professional
My curriculum for this class was approved by the Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians and it includes a Certified Educational Teacher, videos, and on hands demonstrations
In summary,
Her paperwork was submitted in July , it now shows up on the BVNPT's website since August
We did not lie about anything, she was not paying attention to information given on first day regarding FAQ's
Policy and Procedures where complete in a timely manner
Requesting no further contact with *** ***
