To Whom It May Concern, On May 2,the customer came into our shop excited and repeatedly complimented our store She noticed the painting on that day and said "OH My God this painting is so my daughter, she would love this!" and continued to tell me her story about her daughter and how she deserves this painting I left to help other customers as she continued to browse She asked to purchase a TV stand that we discounted and asked if she could pick it up on Friday may 5th and I told her no problem but she needed to fill out our "hold policy contract" which states a business day hold and on the 4th you will incur $5.oo a day charge, if not picked up by the 6th day item is returned to stock with no refunds or creditwe have a copy of that signed contractShe did not come in on Friday to pick up her tv stand so my boss called to remind her on Saturday the 6th of the hold policy she had signed ON Monday I had called her to find out what day she thought she'd be able to pick up the stand and she immediately started yelling," Ill pay the damn $5.00!" after I was able to calm her down, I explained to her I was just calling to see if she had set up a day to pick up the stand...she apologized and said someone called her on Saturday to tell her about the storage fees I said don't worry about the fees just please give me a day you'll be here she came in that evening around pm and said she was waiting for her son to come help her She went straight to the painting and asked about the discount and the artist I told her again there's no signature...the price on it is from the estate, which was $i told her id give her a 25%discountI also told her to reverse google the painting and showed her how to do it on her phone She kept saying how awesome it is and how much her daughter would love it and deserved it and then said, "but if I buy this I wont be able to pay rent! " she laughed as she said it so I thought she was joking It was way past closing time, her son never showed up and she was going back and forth about the paintingshe said she was waiting to hear from her daughter then said "F it i'm buying it!" She bought the painting knowing there was no signature, she did a reverse google and she didn't take home her tv stand She said she'll have to let us know tomorrow as to when she'd pick up the stand We got a phone call from her the next morning yelling and accusing us of misleading her She demanded a refund on the paintingflashing back to her comment of "if I buy this I cant pay rent!" We had explained to her that she had signed the contract where it states no refunds or credit and we have it posted at the register She demanded to speak to the owner, which she did, and the owner was so offended by her demeanor that she offered her store credit on the painting and she had to use it the same day When the customer came in she told my co worker and I that the owner said store credit for tv stand and painting AND she could use it as she pleaseswhich was a blatant lie! She cursed us out The customer spoke to the owner so disrespectfully that she told her the credit offer was no longer available Of course we were cursed out some more and to top it off she lied to Sac PD to get them out to the shop!! The police officer asked us our story and of course, he said it was soooo opposite of the customers story The officer said she accused us of taking her money and not giving her her items! In the end the officer told her she needs to take her items and leave because she signed a contract stating no refunds and he told us "get ready cause she said she going to take us down and threatening to post negative stuff on every site!" Tell us why here

her daughter and how she deserves this painting.  I left to help other customers as she continued to browse.  She asked to purchase a TV stand that we discounted and asked if she could pick it up on Friday may 5th and I told her no problem but she needed to fill out our "hold policy contract" which states a 3 business day hold and on the 4th you will incur $5.oo a day charge, if not picked up by the 6th day item is returned to stock with no refunds or credit. we have a copy of that signed contract. She did not come in on Friday to pick up her tv stand so my boss called to remind her on Saturday the 6th of the hold policy she had signed.  ON Monday I had called her to find out what day she thought she'd be able to pick up the stand and she immediately started yelling," Ill pay the damn $5.00!"  after I was able to calm her down, I explained to her I was just calling to see if she had set up a day to pick up the stand...she apologized and said someone called her on Saturday to tell her about the storage fees.  I said don't worry about the fees just please give me a day you'll be here...  she came in that evening around 5 pm and said she was waiting for her son to come help her.  She went straight to the painting and asked about the discount and the artist.  I told her again there's no signature...the price on it is from the estate, which was $220. I told her id give her a 25%discount.
