Hello,Below are the details of the experience our sales manager, [redacted] had with Mr [redacted] Mr [redacted] had been submitting internet leads to two of our dealerships beginning 11/16/At our Irvine location he submitted leads through our website and the [redacted] buying service regarding New and Used vehicles In each instance he communicated that price/payment were his primary concern Based on communications that are documented in our customer contact system we were unable to arrive at terms that were agreeable to Mr [redacted] Mr [redacted] even emailed us on 11/"Thank you, I wish we could have come to terms Unfortunately, the [redacted] is a want not a need." On November 27th Mr [redacted] visited our Irvine location to view a used vehicle that he had already communicated with and was located at [redacted] GMC [redacted] *** Our staff offered to inquire about the vehicle and appraise his trade in We provided a quote for the vehicle he was interested in and provided the trade appraisal Mr [redacted] was not agreeable to the figures and was going to appraise his vehicle at [redacted] Prior to his departure Mr [redacted] provided a price offer to one of our assistant managersOut of respect for Mr [redacted] 's time our assistant manager offered to submit the offer for consideration and work on logistics for obtaining the vehicle while Mr [redacted] appraised his trade at [redacted] Within a matter of minutes our assistant manager texted Mr [redacted] the attached messages regarding the transaction Our team at [redacted] never agreed to terms with Mr [redacted] and there were still quite a few variables to the transaction that were far from resolved Our system never showed any price changes or quotes that matched Mr [redacted] offer A few days later Mr [redacted] emailed and called into the dealership stating that we failed to honor a price commitment I asked Mr [redacted] for some time to research and also if he had any communication or documents with the price we had allegedly agreed to, of which he had noneAfter researching I called Mr [redacted] and let him know that we could not meet his price offer and that I was unable to view anything in our system that indicated we had agreed to his offer Mr [redacted] seemed intent on forcing our organization to sell a vehicle for a price less than was acceptable for us I let him know we appreciated the opportunity but we were unable to move forward A few days later the vehicle sold to another customer and we considered the matter closed.Please let us know if you have any questions or need any additional information.We appreciate your assistance in getting this matter cleared up.Sincerely, [redacted] Business Manager [redacted] Chevrolet of [redacted]
