Consumer states business's customer service is rude, and she will not use them again.

I would like to respond the consumer’s comment that the business is “rude and she won’t use us again”.My comment is simply that the consumer is not being truthful and we have several witnesses to exactly what was said and for that reason this business does not want any business dealings with this type of individual in the future

The customer called for us to repair her carpet as it was buckling. She specifically asked how much would this cost and she was told that it would be determined by how long the work would take. She was told from the start that there would be a charge. After going over several dates
the customer was told that the installer would contact her directly and arrange for the repair and that the customer should just pay him directly.The installer opened several seamed doorways in order to be able to re-stretch the carpet. When he finished the work she refused to pay and told him that she would pay the business directWe called the customer the next day and asked for payment - she refused to payThe office worker over heard *** ***'s conversation and there was never any threats made, but the customer was told that she will have to pay for the repair. If there is a problem related to our installation of the product we will make the needed repair at no charge, but again a wrinkled carpet that is over years old is not an installation related issue.We warranty all of our installations, but a wrinkled carpet is not the result of the installation but rather the result of heavy traffic in a concentrated area. All carpet manufacturers exclude stairs and halls from any of their wear warranties for that reason.The usual minimum charge for any of our paid repairs is $250.00, this covers a minimum for time and for travel. It is a common practice in most any service businesses, in fact we are usually less expensive than most.Thank you,*** ***Tell us why here
