Sims Custom Cabinetry

I hired SCC (S*** Custom Cabinetry) in August 2019. I gave the owner a $6000 deposit. At that time I told him we planned to move into our house in October and would need the cabinets finished by then. He did not object to the timeframe. The total was $19,000 for kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, laundry cabinets, mudroom built in, and livingroom built ins. SCC did not even start building my cabinets until October. I was promised again that my cabinets would be done in December and again in January. The owner gave the date in January that my project would be finished and we signed a new agreement with that date. I was told again that he would come out on 2/25/2020 and he is not returning my messages. He has not been back to my house in over a month.

The agreement we signed on 12-18-2019 said the following:

*crown molding on kitchen cabinets and living room cabinets
*shoe molding in laundry and bathrooms
*upper cabinets in laundry - two 24" cabinets
*mudroom lock built in - in laundry
*upper bookshelves for living room built ins
*drawer organizers & spice shelves - kitchen
*mirror frames for bathrooms
*replace 4 wall cabinets - kitchen

Beginning total $19,000
Paid $6,000 deposit August 19, 2019
Paid $6,000 December 18, 2019
$7,000 due upon customer satisfaction and completion of list above
