Ordered JazzCard Movil sim card for my daughter. Returned registration and copy of ID, however, vendor could not produce a required phone number.Ordered JazzCard Movil sim card for my daughter on April 8, 2013. Sim Card was delivered. Upon returning from college, my daughter contacted the company on April 28th to ask them to supply a Registration form that was supposed to be included when the Sim card was shipped. Per their instructions we scanned her US Passport and the registration form and returned it via e-mail the same day. My daughter was told that she should expect to receive an e-mail from JazzCard Movil by about mid-weak after the card was activated and she was registered as the owner. On or about Wednesday, May 1st my daughter placed a follow-up call to the (XXX-XXX-XXXX). She didn't get the gentleman's name to whom she spoke, however, he indicated that they had e-mailed the information to JazzCard Movil in Spain on Monday, April 29th and that they would resend the e-mail in an effort to secure an e-mailed phone number for her.On Friday, May 3rd my daughter had still not received any correspondence or feedback with regards to the promised phone number. I attempted to call the number at 11:21 AM EST and received a recorded message that that phone number was not available at this time and asked me to leave a message, which I did requesting a status update. At 3:20 PM EST on the same day after not hearing back, I once again attempted to call, had the same message and left a similar message. On Sunday, May 7th at 2:10 PM EST I called the office, and there was a new answering service prompting me to pick between Sales (1) and Customer Service (2). I chose the latter and spoke with [redacted]. He confirmed the earlier attempts and their attempted e-mails. He suggested that "he wanted to be 100% honest with me" and then went on to tell me how the JazzCard folks in [redacted] were not real dependable and that "they" were thinking about discontinuing to offer that brand of card. I suggested that as [redacted]'s customer and because they were acting as a Agent for that company, that I would appreciate his contacting the company on Monday (May 6th) to hopefully resolve this matter. He promised that he was "making a note and would get on it first thing when he got into the office the next morning". During our conversation, [redacted] also suggested that the phone numbers are typically turned around in a 2 to 3 day period of time. I stressed that my Daughter was leaving for Spain on Tuesday morning May 7th and thus there needed to be a sense of urgency with this matter. On Monday, May 6th at 10:17 AM EST after not hearing anything I attempted to call Sims for Spain again at the above number. After pushing 2 for customer service I was placed into a waiting queue where I was told that I was number one in line and to please hold. I held for a couple of minutes and then the recording came back on and apologized that they couldn't help me right away and asked me to leave a message, which I did with multiple phone numbers left as options to reach me. At 2:35 PM EST later on Monday (5/6) I once again tried to call the company with the same result as above. I likewise left an urgent message due to the later hour. No response.Tuesday, May 7th. My daughter left for Spain this morning and still had not received an e-mail with her phone number, which renders the product useless as it is unlawful to use and unregistered SIM card in Spain and because we never received the confirmation e-mail containing her phone number she will not be using it. I likewise have yet to hear back from the company on any of my multiple voice-mails.Desired SettlementI would request that the company refund my purchase price to my charge card that was used to purchase the SIM card that is now rendered useless. Our invoice number for that purchase is Invoice Number: INVXXXXX with an Order Number: XXXXX with the original Order Date of April 8, 2013.Consumer's Final Response Hi [redacted],Thank you for your efforts on our behalf. I wanted to update you and let you know that my daughter received a refund check from the company yesterday. They didn't include any sort of correspondence other than the check. Most likely we wouldn't have seen anything without the Revdex.com getting involved. Thanks![redacted]May the good Lord bless you today!(XXX) XXX-XXXX
