[redacted]     To Whom It May Concern:     On July 29th, 2015,Tatiana [redacted] purchased a PFAFF Select 4.2 sewing machine from Singer Sew and Vac. During the purchase Ms. [redacted] was shown how to properly use the machine as well as shown the included machine accessories and instruction manual. After explaining the 30-day store policy and 1-year manufacture warranty, Ms. [redacted] filled out her information on the Dealer Record of Sale which was attached to the warranty card which was also given to her.   Within roughly two months Ms. [redacted] returned to Singer Sew and Vac with the sewing machine sewing light not turning on. The light bulb was replaced and the machine tensions and stitches were checked free of charge, the machine was returned to her the following day.   The following year Ms. [redacted] returned to the store claiming that the machine was not working properly. The machine was once again checked but nothing was found. When the machine was returned to Ms. Czajowksi she was again shown how to properly thread and use the sewing machine. There was no charge for this.   Ms. [redacted] then returned on July 1st 2016 with an issue caused by the use of inappropriate thread. She was informed that the use of this thread was not acceptable for this type of sewing machine and that the continued use could cause serious damage to the machine and as such the issue would not be covered by the warranty and would require a $60.49 service to repair. She insisted that it be covered under the warranty and warranty was once again explained to her. Ms. [redacted] then decided to leave the sewing machine for repair with the understanding that there would be a $60.49 charge for the service.   Because of the use of inappropriate thread, the machines position finger had been moved out of place. The position finger was then adjusted and the machine was serviced, which included the retiming of the machines hook. Ms. [redacted] then picked up the sewing machine and paid the $60.49 service charge.     Ms. [redacted] then returned to the store on July 12th 2016 with information obtained from customer service. She said that she was given information that lead her to believe the machines issue was covered under the warranty . The details of the warranty were again explained to her. Ms. [redacted], visibly irate, kept stating that she was recording the conversation. Upon hearing this my son entered the conversation and began to explain the warranty to Ms. [redacted]. The conversation, being already heated, was elevated when Ms. [redacted] yelled at him to "shut up" and that "the conversation did not concern him". She then asked for his age and threatened to call the police (with her phone in her hand). Upon being told to call the police she hung up the phone. During the entire conversation Ms. [redacted] was yelling and was responded to in the same manner.   Ms. [redacted] continued to demand that the $60.49 be returned to her even when she was shown paperwork that stated that there would be a charge regardless of warranty. Now realizing that Ms. [redacted] was not being reasonable she was asked to leave Singer Sew and Vac. As she left she slammed the door.   Because of the nature of the damage that the machine sustained it falls out of warranty and we are therefore unable to refund the money. We hope that this explanation of events satisfies your inquisition and hope to see this unfortunate matter resolved.         Singer Sew and Vac

August 30th, 2016     To whom it may concern,     I am not satisfied with the Singer & Vac response and must mention numerous false statements in their paper.     First of all, Ms.Maria falsely informs that she showed me how to use the machine, explained the warranty policy and gave me a warranty card. She never did none of the above. I received a warranty policy from PFAFF Customer Care Representative defending the right buyer as you can see it from a letter which I have attached.     Second, Ms.Maria untruly states that I rerurned the machine claiming that it was not working properly, but nothing wrong was found. I never did that. I only brought my machine for the light bulb fixing. In this way Ms.Maria trys to make me look like a beginner in sewing business, but I graduated sewing school over 30 years ago and know everything about sewing.     Third, Ms.Maria spuriously claims that she informed me about a certain type of thread use, but she did not that. As defending the right buyer ?onfirmed by email that there are no restrictions for thread use and this repair should be covered by warranty.     Forth, when I brought my machine for the repair, I said that I purchased it less than a year ago and it's should be still under warranty. Ms.Maria did not contradict that, but charged me later for the repair.     Fifth, I never raised my voice defending my right as a consumer based on a PFAFF warranty policy and on emails from PFAFF Customer Care Representatives, who ineffectually conta?ted to Ms.Maria asking her to give me a refund because she unfairly charged for the repair which should be covered by the warranty. She keeps ignoring them.     Finally, Singer & Vac business has gross violations such as warranty fraud and cash register falsification. At the day of purchase, July 29th 2015, a cash register receipt was not given to me as well as a warranty policy after I paid in cash (paper money). At this point the issues was started. I hope everything is clear now and I'll get a refund soon. Sincerely, Tatiana [redacted]     P.S. I have included the emails from PFAFF for you to review
