Sirianni Automotive Service Reviews (1)

To the Revdex.com regarding ID ***, Thank you for handling this case, it's unfortunate it has come to this but I believe in the processI have read Mr***'s letter a few times and I think it would be best to answer in sections, for clarificationI will be concise as I know
you are busy Part 1- Mr*** visited Sirianni Automotive on July 6, He requested an alignment because he had replaced the tie-rod ends and lower control arm but did not have alignment equipmentOur standard charge for an alignment is $We hooked up the vehicle to the alignment machine and took readingsThe camber/caster and toe needed adjustmentAt our shop, if a camber kit is available and the camber needs adjustment, we recommend the camber kit installationThis is pursuant with MAP Guidelines, ASE Guidelines, Red McCombs and Northside Ford Factory service centers, and Hunter Alignment Equipment CompanyIf our Hunter alignment machine shows the use of camber kits, we suggest themMr*** stated he would install the kits and return to have the alignment doneAt that point, we charged 1/of the fee for an alignment because we do not perform alignment checks for free (which is company policy and stated clearly in our front office)Mr*** returned on July 7, after having installed the caster/ camber kits himself and we performed the alignmentAfter the alignment, we verified all specificationsWe even printed a picture including all the measurements and gave it to Mr***Part - Mr*** had an accident involving the front endAny impact to the front end can affect an alignmentThis has nothing to do with workmanshipMr*** had plenty of time to let us know the alignment was off before his accidentIt's impossible to say, after the accident, that the alignment we did was wrong; he was run off the road and hit a curb, the impact is what changed the alignmentHis insurance company approved an alignment because they knew it had changed in the collision and would need adjustmentThe insurance only approved $and Mr*** asked us if we could do an alignment for that priceWe agreed to perform a discounted alignment because he was a current customer and that's all his insurance authorizedThe alignment was completed and Mr*** left with a printout of the measurementsFrom our perspective, the first alignment is void due to the accidentThe only amount paid to us as of this visit was a total of $for the current alignmentPart - Mr*** called and requested his money back and we consentedI personally wrote a check directly after the phone call for a total of $When he showed up, he was agitated and demanded we put his truck on the rack immediately and remove the caster/camber kits even though we had not installed them and manually adjust the alignment without themThat is contradictory to our shop policyAdditionally, Mr*** was demanding and irrational and this lead to a verbal argument between *** Srand Mr***During this time, Mr*** was filming or recording the argumentMr*** left then returned and spoke with *** JrThe $check was still there and presented to Mr*** at the time of entryHe stated he wanted (which is more than the sum of all his bills) or he would embarrass Sirianni Automotive by posting the video to FacebookThis sounded like blackmail, he then threatened a lawsuit, then requested that we just pull the truck back on the rack and remove the bolts and re-align the truck, then called the police and filed a complaint of "Fraud against the disabled." At that point, Mr*** was asked to leave the premises and not return unless accompanied by a lawyerConclusion - According to his letter to the Revdex.com Mr*** stated we left the tie rods loose but he only noticed they were loose after it had been to Red McCombs and Pep BoysThey could have left them looseRed McCombs, the Factory Service Center suggested the use of camber kits, Sirianni Automotive suggested it and MAP Guidelines recommend their useOne single technician at a Pep Boys said he could do it without themMr.*** wants a refund, the $charge was offered for refund multiple times, it was declinedThat offer does not stand because Mr*** filed an official "Fraud against the disabled" report so we cannot refund anything as it might be an admission of some sort of guiltMr*** was instructed to have his lawyer contact Sirianni Automotive as we would not accept any more communication from Mr***Our lawyer is prepared to handle the fraud caseIt is not within my capabilities to handle an investigation about caster/camber kits and I cannot offer any help with a PSAMr*** forfeited the full refund of our alignment service ($60.00) when he threatened a lawsuit, attempted blackmail and called the police.Nobody likes a disagreement and I'm sorry the transaction ended this wayWe have tried unsuccessfully to resolve the issue and now Mr*** has involved lawyers, the police and the Revdex.comI really wish we could just part ways and move on.Mr*** has exercised his Constitutional, 2nd Amendment right to open carry his pistol in a holster every time he has come in to our shopHis behavior has been very erratic fluctuating between just fixing the problem to a lawsuit, to a refund and then to calling the policeI would like it in print that I feel harassed and am slightly concerned for my safety.Thank you for your time,*** *** ***Owner, Sirianni AutomotivePhone: ***
