When I purchased the vehicle I
used my Ohio driver's license which contained my maiden name of *** *** I just received the notices of email correspondence to my complaint I will email and/or fax the documents related to the case promptly I will also advise you that I did not receive the invoice of the diagnostic and estimate for repairs from the company after the work was completed However, when I spoke with Debbie the sales manager she claimed that they had taken pictures and kept the estimate for the damages

I am writing in reference to Ms*** ***’s complaint about damage to the radiator andcondenser in her Volkswagen JettaAs Ms*** indicated, she purchased her Jetta onMarch 24, When Ms*** complained about damage to the vehicle, over three weekslater, we offered to have it inspected at the Sisbarro Volkswagen dealership in Las Cruces.During that inspection which took place April 25, our service professionals found fresh mud andscratches to the undercarriage of the vehicleFurthermore, the service technicians advised thatthe vehicle could not have been driven during the previous month with the amount of damagethey found without further damage having been caused to the engineIt is our opinion,whether known to Ms*** or not, that the damage was caused after she took possession ofthe vehicle and therefore repairs will not be paid for by the dealership.I apologize for the delay in responding to Ms***’s complaintI was attempting to locatepictures of the vehicles which were taken by the service technician but was unable to do so

I am rejecting this response due to the fact that I originally was reassured by Kris, my car dealer, that if I found there to be any mechanical issues with the vehicle within the first 30 days, that I could bring the car back with no problems. I was also reassured this by Debbie, the sales manager, to not be a matter and then was given the option by Debbie to get the added mechanical insurance with my financer, SNAAC, to cover any mechanical failures due to normal wear and tear. Due to the nature of my work in the Army, working 24 hour shifts and field missions, I was unable to get a certified mechanic to do a complete inspection until three weeks after my purchase. When I attempted to contact Debbie and Kris with the discovery that I made, I was then met with the indifference of their analysis of their dealership mechanics who claimed there was fresh mud and dirt underneath the damage. However, when I looked at the damage for myself in the service area with the mechanics there was no dirt, only dust. I have the ability, although I am not a certified mechanic, to handle all repairs to the vehicle myself and will do so because of Sisbarro's refusal to rectify the situation. However, I will not return to Sisbarro to purchase another vehicle for my husband in another month nor will I recommend any of my fellow Army soldiers to Sisbarro unless they go with an attorney and a mechanic.
